We didn’t just buy this mat. Our autistic daughter requested it. And when an autistic child makes a clear, enthusiastic request, you listen immediately and do not ask follow-up questions. The moment this mat came out of the box, she claimed it like prime real estate. Couch? Secondary. Floor without foam tiles? Absolutely not. This mat is now her chosen place for sitting, sorting, arranging, popping pieces in and out, and generally living her best life. The colors are bright but not loud. The letters, numbers, and shapes are clear and satisfying. The foam is soft but not flimsy. And — miracle of miracles — the tiles actually stay together instead of flying apart like a sensory grenade. The borders deserve special recognition. She LOVES the defined edge. It’s structured. It’s contained. It makes sense. Chaos is acceptable, but only inside a clearly marked perimeter. Most importantly, it makes her genuinely happy. Calm, focused, joyful happy. The kind of happy where she keeps coming back to it again and again. When your child requests something and then fully commits to it, you know you got it right. If you have an autistic child, especially one who enjoys sensory input with structure, this mat is an absolute win. It earned instant approval in our house — and honestly, that’s the only review that matters.

These are awesome, huge and great price, I didn't realize it came with letters and numbers which is so awesome. Fun and cute for my goddaughters room.

Bought for my son's play area. They are bright and made well. My son immediately became engaged and was telling me the shapes not long after.

My kids love this alphabet and numbers mat! The colors are bright, and the foam is soft and safe for them to play on. It’s easy to put together and clean, and it makes learning fun. Perfect for playrooms or any learning space! the thickness is okay!

Nice size vibrant colors, unfortunately, it did not work for my kids. I used it for kids playroom where they often eat snacks, all the crumbs slipped between the cracks. My house is prone to ants so it just does not work for me.

These are great floor tiles for those just learning to crawl, walk and how to use their new bodies. We bought these when our toddler was around 7 months old and found them to be very helpful throughout the years (he's now around 2 years and 9 months). He has crawled on them, fallen while taking his first steps, played and even used them as the stopping point for sliding off the furniture, on his own choosing. As he got older, we were able to teach him his ABC's and how to count from zero to nine. There are times that he would run around the tiles while singing the ABC song and looking at the tiles for the letter that he was on. He would also sometimes see a letter on his Kindle and feel the need to look for the associated tile too. The different colors helped to teach colors too. A nice way to teach them things while keeping them safe during their inevitable falls. They clean up easily enough when using something as simple as warm water and a cloth, for those spills that happen. For more sticky situations, warm water and soap take care of it easily. Applying duct tape to the back of the tiles can prevent your child from removing all of the various pieces of the foam tile to chew on. Over time some of the tiles have developed little dents/divots, but we didn't notice any pieces of the foam tile on the floor. I'm sure it's just something that happens due to regular traffic over this type of surface. Definitely a great item to have when their are children around and makes an excellent learning tool too. These make a cute, safe mat for my child to play on. It does a good job padding falls. I had enough pieces to set up two small mats in different rooms in my house. love that we have alphabet and number tiles, And that we can play at fitting the pieces together and taking them apart. They did have a strong odor when I first took them out of the packaging, but that faded quickly. I waited three days before posting this review to see how much it would fade. It's now barely noticable, even if I get my nose right next to it. I did also find that this product is not ideal on a shag carpet, since the part separate from each other more easily there. It works much better on a hard floor or thin carpet or rug. I do wish that the colors had been chosen so that I could arrange these in rows of 3, 4, or 5 without running into the issue of having the same colored blocks next to each other. But that's my one real irritation. My child tried chewing on one of the pieces immediately, of course, but he wasn't able to bite off a piece, so not a choking hazard. He just left some very small bite marks.

LOVE it. Bought it for our playpen that we keep over tile in our kitchen and it's amazing. My daughter has fallen so many times and it's soft enough to prevent her from getting hurt. It's so colorful and a great learning opportunity with the letters and numbers on it. I don't love that the letters and numbers can be removed because my daughters do exactly that and the small inserts for letters like D can be very easy to lose but my baby does like to chew on it too so I guess it's not all bad. Light, easy to clean, easy to pull apart. I'm sure we'll have it for years and many kids to come!

Lots of pieces for the price. My dog is old, and she likes having these to walk around and lay on. Easy to wash.
