Pulls well and puts away easily
The towing experience with this hitch is very good. Some chucking, I think due to the adapter ball sliding up and down in the coupler tube, but nothing major. Hitching up is a pretty forgiving process, though I am glad for the Andersen buckets under the front jacks 'cause they have to stretch more than usual. Putting it away is a one-person job. Not a fast process, but after several cycles my speed and comfort level are good.

The sturdier gooseneck to 5th wheel option
This gooseneck to 5th wheel hitch is an awesome product. It's very sturdy and fits tightly to my B&W gooseneck ball/hitch. It has offset adjustment at the ball and on the kingpin adapter to help with shortbed trucks. I installed this on my 2022 Ram 2500 Megacab with a 6.4' bed and the camper clears the cab at a sharp 90 degree angle. The height is also adjustable. It's may not be as light as others, probably weighs just under 50lbs. There is a lot of different bolts to torque and the install/Uninstall sequence needs to be in a specific order so this isn't as easy as they make it sound. It's not hard just follow the procedure. I got some deep well sockets and a 1/2" torque wrench to keep in the 5th wheel. I like how hefty the construction is and also the rails that lay on the bed, under the base feet, to distribute weight more evenly across the truck bed. I also like the cup on the hitch as opposed to other designs where it's on the 5th wheel kingpin because this allows you to hitch up at any angle and tilt (easier for the truck to shift around while lowering the trailer). I also like that the ball release isn't a cable mechanism I need to attach to the camper. Overall glad I got this one and happy with how it handles while towing.

Great product, light weight, easy to hitch securely
I bought this hitch because I needed a lighter solution than most traditional fifth wheel hitches. This one saved me a couple of hundred pounds over any other steel hitch, and it's offset design makes tight turns possible with my short-ish bed pickup. I works well, is easy to connect, and is easy to verify positively that the hitch ball is secure (use a "lift test" rather than a "pull test").I have the 2600, which connects to the gooseneck ball in the center of my pickup bed. It was easy to install and I'd have rated installation 5 stars except that some of the set screws that hold the ball socket are deep within the frame and hard to access with normal wrenches since there is very little room for movement of the wrench. Other than that it was a breeze. Of note, I discovered that the instructions had errors in the wrench sizes needed to adjust some of the bolts and I needed to get larger wrenches. The packaging was marginal: the product had apparently been dropped or manhandled in shipping and two legs poked through box, but thankfully the hitch was not damaged and no parts were missing. There were a few scratches which I touched up with spray paint before installing.Be aware that if you have a flexible king pin box on your fifth wheel like the Rota-flex, you need to buy an extra part to lock this up tight so it doesn't move around. I bought the PullRite 4446 Rota-Flex King Pin Box Isolator. The Overall I'm very happy with this product.

Crushed box
Great looking hitch, it’s heavier than advertised but easy to move just the same. Box was absolutely destroyed and was held together by plastic wrapping. Luckily all pieces and parts were still in what was left of the box. Manufacturer really needs to package this hitch better.

Works well
Light enough for me to install and remove by myself, pretty easy to hitch line up and hitch, tows pretty well but get some rocking when the set up harmonizes with the road. It's been a while, but my 5th wheel with the flexing pin box seemed a bit smoother.I advise against using the Pullright ball in the Ford factory puck, their ball sits very high and causes the lockdown bolt to stick up so high top of the bolt is almost level with the lip of the receiver funnel and you can't use a socket to torque the lock down nut.Installation - some confusion and delay because the sizes of the nuts and bolts in the installation instructions did not match the sizes on the hitch that I received, they were all larger than the instructions stated.

Great overall hitch, even with a short bed truck!
I absolutely love this hitch. Very well designed, and easy to install and use. I decided on this hitch for our short bed RAM 3500 over a traditional 5th wheel slider hitch to save on cargo capacity. I had my concerns of towing with a short bed without a slider, but it has been a non issue. I've never even come close to hitting the cab. The connection point actually sits back a little farther than a traditional connection, which gets a a few more precious inches. I also love being able to hook up from any angle, and not having to do a "tug test"... since it's a ball I know it's locked in place! The hitch even has multiple points to attach safety chains so it was very easy to do. I like that the hitch is also made from steel (unlike the similar Andersen hitch), making it feel VERY strong. I would definitely recommend this hitch. Ignore bad reviews that are simply due to "packaging". Is that really what you're concerned with when shopping for something that you plan on towing thousands of pounds safely with?!

Excellent alternative to typical 5th wheel hitch connection.
I recently traded a Ram 2500 short bed truck for a Ram 3500 long bed dually. One of the reasons I traded was to get rid of the Demco Autoslide hitch, and go to one of the gooseball options on the market. The Demco is a great hitch if you have a short bed truck. But it’s a beast, so it takes up most of the bed, and is much too heavy to take in and out. And because my trailer has the Rotaflex kingpin box, I had to be perfectly parallel to the trailer when hitching and unhitching. That’s not always possible, and is never easy. I decided on the Pullrite over the Andersen because the Pullrite is steel, and accepts a gooseball rather than being the gooseball. I chose it over the Reese Goosebox conversion because of cost and ease of installation. I couldn’t be happier. I can install and remove the Pullrite myself, and hitching and unhitching are fast and easy. If you have a long bed truck with a gooseball setup, and the 20K limit isn’t a problem, I highly recommend the Pullrite Superlite hitch.
