Rough Rider The Pipe Doctor Tobacco Bone RR1899

Perfect for my use. I didn't realize it was on the larger size, but that's not a bad thing. Typical RR quality, which is very good to excellent. Sharp, smooth, and scraped the bowl of a pipe without gouging the bottom. Pretty "classy" looking too! Can't ask for much more.

This is a very special knife for the pipe smoker. Very well made all you need in the vest pocket, I’m dating myself but it does it all. Very sharp, slim and easy to open and use. This is a great choice for the gifts I’ve got a couple of people in mind for gifts.

Added this to my canvas pipe roll. I am honestly shocked at the quality of this knife. For the price I wish I could give it 8 stars. Thing is bad ass. To use it as a tamp, just turn it upside down

I like it. Yes you have to open the pick and the blade to use this as a tamper. So in my opinion it is not a real replacement for a tamper. However as a knife it is pretty good. I'm was not a fan of the cheap 440 stainless steel until I stopped trying to sharpen it on a stone and just started using a pull through like I do with most of my kitchen knives. I have only had to sharpen this knife once and have just stropped it every since. It is razor sharp and has become the knife I prefer to EDC. I still carry my Benchmade Bugout but I find myself using the Pipe Doctor most. I can pull it out and no one pays attention. I can not say the same about my Bugout. If you are looking for a neat novelty or a discreet pocket knife that appeals to the delicate sensibilities of those who lack the calluses on their hands to hold a high opinion of those who labor for a living then this is the knife. 4 stars because the the blade has twisted some with daily use. After 3ish years of daily use.

Knife came sharp out of the box and the picture doesn't do it justice this thing is absolutely beautiful do yourself a favor and get one
