Glue spreader
I use this to evenly spread wood glue. Works great for that purpose and the wood glue washes right off the roller, or peels off if dried on.

Excellent for wood glue application
I use this little roller to apply wood glue to the work pieces. It applies a very even layer of glue much better than finger and brushes. The dried glue can be peeled off.

Good quality at a good price.
I love this brayer. I bought it for diamond painting and it’s perfect for that. Very sturdy handle and the density of the soft rubber roller is perfect for what I’m using it for. I see comments saying the handle is short but for me and the amount of time that I’ll be using it, it’s fine. Very good quality at a good price. I would recommend it.

Works great but not comfortable enough for all day wear
Not much to it. Works exactly as expected

Perfect soft brayer for gel printing.
I did a little bit of monoprinting in college years ago as a rather whimsical extension of a watercolor course I took. We painted thick, oily, pasty ink onto glass plates and ran them through a huge printing press that they have at the school, and it was a ton of fun. Now, years later, I got the hankering to do it again, and instead of buying a press that would require building on another room, I decided to try gel plates, which have become very popular in recent years. For the glass plates, we used hard rubber brayers, so it came as no surprise that a soft brayer would be most appropriate for a gel plate, and this one is soft, solidly built, fits well in the hand, with a good weight and size, and at roughly $15, is affordable and is available in a range of sizes.

good brayer
I love that this is removable, but honestly, I have not had to use that feature yet. It cleans easily. Some of the ink I use has stained it but that hasn't rubbed off on anything. My only complaint is that after a couple of weeks, it has a slight nick that peeled up a bit of rubber. I just am not sure if that was from my own error or something else. Either way its hardly noticeable and does not affect my prints.

My Best Brayer for Gel Printing
I really like this brayer! It is sturdy and well built. For gel printing, I think it's the best brayer design made by Speedball due to it being easier to lie it down on the shape of the back side of it and because you can remove the rubber roller to clean it.
