Useful in the garden
Good knife for general use in the garden. Had one for years but mislaid it so bought another. Its a cobblers knife.! Although I am 79 I had to provide proof of being over 18 by my driving licence which was recorded very carefully before I could have the package. Legislation gone mad!Legislation gone mad.

Sharp choice
Eventually found a "shoe knife" after a long search. I have used one for years after inheriting one from my father-in -law and used it for numerous purposes - always at hand in the workshop! My son is now renovating his own house and found the knife so useful that it became "on permanent loan" so I had to find a replacement. - I was delighted to see that the design and quality have been maintained. This humble tool deserves a much higher profile as it can carry out a very wide variety of tasks as a highly flexible blade - superior to all manner of more recent "craft" tools.

Very sharp and easy to grip
My wife does bookbinding and these are ideal for some of her crafty processes. The knife is ground to a sharp highly angled point and feels comfortable in the hand. "Rosewood" is I think used as a generic description for a richly hued tropical hardwood - the handle certainly looks quality and feels good.

Higly recommended
Very good knives. Steel holds a good edge. I use them to open cardboard boxes- hundreds during the shift. I only wish the handle was plastic, for rivets will loosen up eventually.
