I use these to hold thread on bobbins. Works great.

Compared to the bands I got from my orthodontist, these definitely feels cheaper and doesn’t have as much tension. On the other hand, these are a good backup when I run out of my current bands or need one in a hurry when my band breaks but overall it’s not bad.
