Beautiful Full-Grain Leather.
I have never worked with leather before, but I wanted a high quality envelope to hold watercolor paper for when I paint outdoors. It was important to me for the leather to be full-grain because I wanted it to hold up to the elements, and last a long time.Quick note: Full-grain leather is the full hide. If you sand the outermost part off, you have thinner, Top-Grain leather. If you sand that off, you have Genuine Leather. (You need to emboss it with an artificial texture to make it look like leather.) I mention that because this is definitely Full-Grain leather. And it’s gorgeous. This leather arrived two days after I purchased it, and it’s lovely! I ran out and picked up a sewing awl. I used a drafting compass to mark and punch holes for sewing. I cut the leather with an Exacto knife, and made this pouch in an evening. It wasn’t as hard as I thought, and I’m excited to take it out when I go camping in a few weeks. This is beautiful, thick, full-grain leather. I am thinking about getting a larger one to make a bigger pouch - but I want to test this one out first so I know what to do differently on the next one.

Quality piece of leather.
Really nice quality. Just as deescrided and the color was accurate. Used it to wet mold a holster and it was just right.

Each order is consistent and the leather is beautiful. The perfect oz. leather for making bags, pocket books and phone cases. Wouldn't order from anyone else!

Definitely not "full-grain" leather.
Recently I bought the tan option. The following refers only to that option. Not only this is not full-grain leather, but I even doubt if it is natural leather at all. It has the consistency of genuine leather, which is a thin slice of manufactured leather-like material glued to pressed pieces of scrap leather. Think of a clipboard pad.-Punching holes with iron to this leather felt like opening holes in plastic.-Creasing with un-heated crease resulted in the upper part of the "leather" to be completely cut right across.-Beveling is impossible due to the plasticky material on the top to be peeled.-Sanding and burnishing resulted in the material on the top disconnecting from the rest of the layers.Conclusively, I am not suggesting not to sell this item, but please be honest with your buyers who are paying top price for a piece of plastic glued to scrap. Explain what they are really buying.

Beautiful Leather for Crafting!
CONTEXTI am a calligrapher, so I needed to get some leather to make a sign for a photoshoot. Living in Hawaiʻi, my options are very limited and expensive, so I turned to Amazon and found this.PROS- BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL!!! Obviously, it's tough to tell with anything when you buy it online, but there is absolutely nothing to worry about with this. It is a gorgeous color.- Quality is 100. It's thick and durable and doesn't scratch easily. By that, I mean I have worked with other "craft" leather that if I accidentally run my nail over it, would scratch the surface (hope that makes sense). Not the case with this leather.- Easy to work with! It took a couple of passes with me Exacto blade, but I didn't mind the extra elbow grease.CONS- As I said, it took a little bit of extra elbow grease to cut through the leather with my top-notch Exacto blade, so I could see that as being a negative to some people. It bothered me at first, but when I changed my blade it wasn't really an issue.OVERALLI love this leather! In my opinion, it is worth every dollar. I used mine to make hanging straps for a sign, but also ended up making a little key chain holder. I plan on making a lanyard with it as well and know I will still have a lot left over for more projects. Highly recommend this product... don't even hesitate about buying it.

All around good product.
Amazing leather. This is my first time trying leather crafts I made 2 wallets and 2 book marks with it. The leather seems durable and it was very nice to work with.

Pretty tough stuff
I bought a sheet of this leather to wrap the arm of my gaming chair to keep my cat from destroying it. My little kitty was in love with the arm of the new chair my wife bought for me. She still likes to perch on the arm, but the leather is tough enough to resist her clawing. Works great thank you.

Very nice color
This leather is very nice. Shipped quickly. It doesn't have the final finish for shine and can be scratched easily. I need a millimeter thicker to make a good knife sheath though

Baja calidad
La calidad de la piel no es buena, el costo es muy alto para la cantidad de material

Está muy bien la piel, solo que si le tienes que tratar la parte de atrás.
