Hades and the Helm of Darkness (3) (Heroes in Training)

My son (11 yo) accidentally stumbled across a book in this series and loves them all. He wasn't a avid reader until this point. This series has sparked his love for reading! The reading level (AR - 3.6, Lexile-550L) is below my sons reading level but the interest level is high and it has boosted his confidence to read independently.

This series has been a big hit with my 6 (now 7) year old son, who is reading a grade level above. The characters aren't too old for him to understand, it's fun, and it is tied in to Greek Mythology. He enjoys talking with his Dad about how what he's reading ties into the original myths.

My 7-year-old and I thoroughly enjoyed this book and are looking forward to the rest in this series. It's funny and exciting, a great bedtime chapter book. The reading level was a bit beyond my son so perhaps best for age 8 and up, if your child will be reading on their own.

My Grandson was reading these books at school to learn about mythology. Very interesting approach, but great idea and written for the kids

Our 10 yr old came home asking if we could find this series of books so we looked it up on Amazon and downloaded it for the Kindle. He promptly read it and needed another one...He's a satisfied customer!

Another one from the Goddess Girls author, this one is Heroes in Training. I've read all three to my sixth grade students this year and they are ready for more. Keep up the good work.

I highly recommend the Heroes in Training Series. My 9 year old son absolutely loves this series and we read them together for his recreational reading points for school!

This book is short but amazing I thought this book would be longer but it was just right. This book can kind of tell you how the Olympians became to be.
