Saucony Women's Grid Velocity Road Running Shoe

I purchased the Saucony Women's Grid Velocity Road Running Shoes for my first runDisney marathon weekend: the Star Wars Rebel Challenge Jan. 15-17. I admittedly bought these shoes because of the very reasonable price and the color scheme worked for my Imperial Forces costume. I can tell you that after running the 10K on Sat. then the half marathon on Sun., these shoes exceeded all of my expectations.From the moment I slipped these shoes on, the fit was perfect: the shoes hug you with enough room for your feet to swell without pinching, the shoes flex with your feet, and the shoes are feather light.I pounded over 19.3 miles of cobblestone, cement, gravel, and asphalt, and these shoes were flawless in traction and support.And you know that really, really wise advice that I did not follow about how you shouldn't wear brand new shoes for a race and you should take the time to break them in? Please do follow that advice; it is very sound -- however, despite my foolishness, I did not suffer a single blister, pinched foot, chafing, etc. These shoes truly did help make every mile magic.

Loved these as soon as I put them on - very light and comfortable. I had never tried Saucony before, but having been disappointed with New Balance's replacement for my favorite shoes (now unavailable) I thought the price and description of these made them worth a try. I ran 11.5 miles in 2 days in them and they felt great - no rubbing or blisters in sight. Love the colors too. I immediately ordered a 2nd pair!

These shoes are super comfortable for running! The memory foam really absorbs the shock after my feet hit the sidewalk, which helps me run a lot longer without knee pain! The fit is good, although my feet are a tiny bit wider than normal.The color is A LOT brighter than the photo though. I ordered the coral/red combination and opened the package to find a pair of neon orange and maroon shoes. I kept them though because they are easier to see at night! :)Overall, the price is very reasonable for a comfortable running shoe with great shock absorption.

A thank you to the people who answered my questions regarding removable insoles. They ARE removable which is what I needed for my custom orthotics (which I wear in all my shoes, all the time). They are very light weight which is exactly what I wanted for the gym, especially for running. I am a novice runner and they feel great to me. LOVE the color and the fit is perfect on a very regular size 8 foot.

These are light and comfortable. They offer a flexible sole, making them great for walking (probably running to, but I avoid running unless I'm late to catch a flight in the airport). I have had several stress fractures - so good shoes are very important. These enable my podiatrist to easily add "adjustments" to the inserts. I've owned them for several months and they've held up well. I plan to order more of these shoes for myself.

I originally bought size 8.5 (which is what I normally wear), however, when I tried them on they were snug. So, I returned them and got a size 9. They fit perfect, until I starting wearing them. Within a few days, they stretched out and are now big. Very frustrated. It would have been nice to know they were going to stretch out some. I would never have switched sizes. I now have a pair of shoes that dont fit well.

My favorite pair of workout shoes! These shoes are perfect for running (treadmill or pavement), spinning, and weights. I wear them 5 days a week and they are very comfortable and light-weight. I have a pair in black and now a pair in red, both are great and I've received many compliments. I like that the colors are too "crazy" but are still bright and attractive. I may have to stock up in case Saucony stopped making them!

I bought these shoes and they work ok for short distances. They hurt my heels and did great for short distance under five miles. They didn't last very long, but for the price, the shoe would work ok for someone not running as many miles probably. I do wear them around the house and outside when working in the yard and they are pretty comfortable. They just don't work for my personal running use.
