This is a great shredder! The size is big enough to do the job, but the container is compact enough to keep on the end of the counter for all the junk mail that comes in. Noise level is not bad at all. I would definitely recommend this shredder. Shipping was fast and easy.

SimplyShred is a great small shredder for home use. It is not very loud - I used it while talking on the phone and didn't miss a thing! I'd say it's a good buy for the money - but, time will tell. I tend to have to replace shredders at least every couple of years. I hope this one lasts. If not, I didn't pay too much for it.

Terrible. Overheated and later stopped working altogether. Bought a different and better one with refunded warranty money.

Changing my review! Works fine the first month after way extra noise and after 2 months only works in reverse!!!And I only use for personal stuff, 2 adults family!!!I try to Google "extra warranty" by the seller and nothing.Do not buy! I should listen to some prior reviews saying the same issues!

Definitely not quiet.. especially right after it finishes with one job, it practically screams. I get that it's not meant for heavy duty shredding, but it overheats and jams while I'm only shredding a bunch of mail (no cards, and only the plastic from envelopes).However, I do like the sleek design and it shreds well as long as you don't go overboard with the workload of course.

Awesome shredder. I picked up this shredder after my old one died. There are so many different brands and they are pretty pricy. This model was a great cross between feature/function and price. It's a great deal and the shredder has been performing beautifully.

I love the way it minimizes paper to confetti in seconds. it would take a master confetti master to piece those pieces back together. Worth the $.
