Great Value
These are great! First off you get two for the price of what other brands cost for one. And I like the fact that the loop is metal instead of plastic. Plus you can use the base the same way as you would a regular cleat if you don't want to hook something on the loop. They're a nice versatile attachment point that feels rugged and are compact that won't get in the way. And that is just what is needed for an already cramped kayak.

Works for securing gear to yak via carabiner.
Works very well, pretty sturdy.

Good solid product
Perfect, tight fit on the factory installed track on my Wilderness Radar. I needed a “hitch” point for my rod leashes and small tools I carry. I am not sure how much weight they will hold but perfect for what I needed.

Just what I was looking for!
These mounts were exactly what I was looking for to mount my kayaks on my roof rack. I think they are supposed to be used on a kayak itself, but I have them mounted in the T-slot on my roof rack. With J hooks on my Grand Cherokee, the wind noise is almost unbearable. I wanted to try mounting them flat before I went for a more expensive fairing. My kayaks are stackable, so I just load one right on top of the other. I bought 2 pair of these and have one on each side of the kayak, front and rear. Loading them this way is significant faster and there is next to no wind noise. They've made it through 3 or 4 trips so far with no issues. One of those trips was around 600 miles on the highway, so they've been well tested.

good quality, but not a good fit on a perception pescador
This does not slide into place on the OEM gear tracks. can't get past the first screw.I will be installing some YakTrax and we'll see if these fit into those properly.

Doesn't fit the track properly
Double check the opening in your track. This T bolt only measures 7/16" wide. The right T bolts are 1/2"I assumed the Chinese part would fit!Read on!The pro:The plastic and metal loop is top quality, there's even a 3/16" rubber spacer to take up any gap between the track and hull. The con:The metal track insert T bolt, is less than 7/16 wide!It was barely grabbing under the slot. Most tracks have a 3/8" space in the track to slide the 1/2" T bolt around. That means this T bolt is only grabbing the track by a 1/16".A toilet bowl bolt or a carriage bolt fits better!I loosened it and could slide the track insert right out!Occasionally it would spin and catch a good portion of the track.I'm laying my head on the track to make sure it grabs every time I move it!I'll swap out the T bolt and will be a 5 star device!

Bien arrimé ses choses pour ne pas les perdres
Pêcher en kayak est ma passion. J'essais de garder mes équipements sécurisés dans le kayak et NON dans le fond de l'eau... Tout dois être bien attâché.

Very quality product with excellent design.
Used these for attaching boat bumpers in my boat top track.Very substantial. As you tighten the mount the pin screws into the bracket and the small bar tightens against the track. The hinged holder moves thebracket out of way. Expensive but worth it.

Bolt tap too thick for track on one tie down.
One of the tabs that go into the track is close to twice as thick as the other and as such will not slide in. I can probably file it down a bunch and make it fit but it obviously shouldn't have too.
