You get one box of 12 or one marker??

I did not receive a box of markers; I received one marker for almost $17! I returned the item but the seller has not “received” the item so I haven’t gotten a refund.

Is this a good substitute for the (sadly discontinued) Papermate Liquid Flair medium point pen?

I don't know that pen but I strongly encourage you to take the risk on trying this pen. The ink prints like a marker.

Might it work well using it with a Rocketbook?

No. It will not work with a Rocketbook.
