Jet Performance 69149 Mass Air Sensor

worked awesome on my Rx8

Had a "running lean" issue since i bought the car 2 years ago, problem with acceleration and shifting kept getting worse and worse. The local Mazda dealership (Cox Mazda in Bradenton, FL) just kept milking me out of money for various "causes" ignoring what I was telling them. I put a short ram intake on which made the problem dramatically worse, and then they just started blaming that as the reason completely ignoring all previous services and the fact it was still just the same problem. I took it upon myself to just replace the sensor with an aftermarket one and am I ever glad I did. All my problems are just gone!

Improved has mileage, and I feel better about how the engine operates! I got a cheap unit too, and was going to return this one, but realized that I don't want to trust a cheap unit with such a critical process like the air going into my engine. This unit is good, from a reliable company.

Worked well on my rx-8

It threw engine light just after 2 start, and rough idle, cannot maintain 750 RPM, kept dropping below that.I used to love this sensor, the first one I got was 2 years ago and it worked well. It then broke (Engine light throw MAF error with low voltage) and cleaning it didn't help.So I decided to purchase the sensor once again, however, this time around, I notice the "bulb" were way smaller then the original one and the feeling just wasn't right.So I ended up returning it.

I have a heavily modified vehicle! It won't run unless I have the maf unplugged, or get a tune. It ran with the stock maf. However horribly.But with this aftermarket won't run at all.. Not cool. That was a lot of $$$$$
