I have been using a Brita pitcher filter…this is awesome! Super easy to setup out of the box. I literally reviewed the paperwork quickly, removed my sink nozzle and looked though the abundant amount of adapters it came with and found the one I needed. I attached it to my spout and tightened the fittings 1/8 to 1/4 turn past tight to seal the gaskets. Turned the ball valve and then ran water for 5 straight minutes through it. I got the first sip in the house XD. It tastes sooooo much better. I will keep this for quite a while! Wonderful find. Total setup time with water running maybe 9 minutes from box open to first glass! The item comes assembled and the tubing is also done very well!

I've come to find there is always one of two problems with filter systems.1.) They are a pain to install ( or require drilling into your sink/counter top)2.) The water out put is slower than I could believe.But this guy right here is the business. I owned a pur faucet filter before this one and the apex was twice as easy to set up, doesn't leak, and I have yet to find any carbon dust in my water (my pur filter failed all three of these aspects). Just screw on the piece that fits your faucet and bam! And it fills my 116 oz jug in like 25 seconds (thats super fast compared to other filters). It came already assembled and ready to go. Of course you need to run it for at least 5 minutes to activate the filter and drain out the initial loose filter contents-which needs to be done to all filters-, but after that you're gold. The only complaint I have is the flavor took a little getting use to but I know why. It adds back much needed minerals in the water so that you are actually benefiting from what you're drinking. We got use to it by the second day and my family and I are so thankful for Apex saving us from the hard water we live with.

Cost of not buying bottled water, no using plastic. Good tasting water.

I recently purchased Apex 2050 to see if it was any better than Apey 1050Being that the new 2050 has a dual filter system I wanted to see if it could out do 1050First of all let me tell you that I am a fan of ApexBefore this filtration system I used to lug cases and cases of water 💦 home from the super market which wasn't pleasant at all 😞But sent using this water treatment system it works for meI have tried other counter tops water treatments system, but could not stand the taste of the water 💦😝But now this one I can drink water all day long with no problemsI actually enjoy drinking water on a regular basisSo to sum it up 👆I would say that the 2050 unit with the dual filter system is very good and I highly recommend it 👏 👌Water is very clear and clean and taste great 😀 😋 👌Can't go wrong 👍

Don't waste your money on these filters. They arrived as advertised, ready to use out of the box. Installation was super easy and we were so excited. After about 2 weeks though it started to have a slight sulfur smell to it. We didn't think much of it, but then it started to get worse and worse to the point we couldn't drink the filtered water anymore. I tried to take it apart to see what was going on in there but the filters are screwed on so tight from the factory it's impossible to get them open.I've tried to contact customer service at Apex a number of times, leaving voicemails and sending an email but there has been no response. We are well out of our 30 day return window now and have a water filtration system that is unusable with no communication from the company to make it right. Save your time and your money, buy another filter.

Love the product. Needed better drinking water for me and the family and this is doing an amazing job.

This is an incredibly convenient counter top filter. At first, it had a mild bitter taste, but ran clean after about 15+ minutes of water cycling, the taste is now amazing. Some of the best water I have ever had, tastes like the Culligan man. Our dogs were not drinking much water, but have dramatically increased their intake after using water from this filter! We were spending close to $60/month on bottled water, and knowing we have paid it off in only 2 months is well worth the investment. Plus less plastic.
