Reframing Organizations: Artistry, Choice, and Leadership 6th Edition

I liked the book. I appreciate the use of real life case studies to illustrate points. It was readable and not dry at all. Frames are an interesting concept I will employ.

I am enjoying this book as part of a leadership course I am taking. My only criticism is that the pages are detaching from the binding. Hopefully, it will stay together for the last 300 pages.

Reframing organisations is a powerful book, for those of us who are trying to reshape an orgasanition to make it more productive and sustainable. My research field is organisational sustainability and I found this book a great step down to the right path to make organisations sustainables. I found quite interesting the way the authors have pin pointed clearly the different frames(structure, human resources, symbolism and politics) through which one can reframe the organisation according to the context.On the other hand, the book provides insightful ideas on how to go about managing organisations by developing leadership skills such as knowing what is going on, how to balance power and deal with politics issues... I strongly recommend this book for managers and leaders!!!

I’ve used the online version through my university but bought a new paper copy. The pages are stuck together on the top - it’s like glue dripped across the top pages of the book. It’s impossible to turn pages without ripping the pages. I thought it was just the first few pages but it seems to be intermittent throughout the book.

This is a very engaging book on leading organizations and people. It is structured such that you can jump around to sections that are of particular interest or read it from start to finish and enjoy it + get a lot out of it either way. All managers, leaders, and aspiring leaders should read this book!

This book is awesome! It has changed how I look at organizations and made interactions with people who sit in different frames much easier.

Of the many useless books I had to get for my grad degree, this one set itself apart by being the most useful of the useless books.

Definitely the four frame shown can lead you to identify where an organization management and leadership level is.
