Amazing - where was this years ago
Absolutely wonderful. Works like a boss every time. Discovered after the usual cutting methods crapped out. Jig saw is fine for curves but unpredictable (IMO) despite having spent a ton on different kinds of blades. Needed to cut 50 pieces, 4x6 inches and this worked perfectly. One of best tools I've ever bought and seems durable.

Simple and effective for scoring laminate
It cuts laminate cleanly and with little effort. All that is need is a straight edge and flat surface. Trying to score and cut laminate with a utility knife takes multiple passes and more pressure, often resulting in a less than clean cut when snapping off the cut piece. Plus a utility knife is susceptible to flexing under pressure and may bend off track. This tool is solid, feels firm in the hand, reliably stays inline, without veering, along a straight edge and is far safer to use.

Gets the Job Done
I spent countless time and energy unsuccessfully hacking away at one-quarter inch cement board with a razor cutting knife. In desperation, I ordered this scoring blade. Unbelievable how much easier it was to cut through the backer board with this carbide cutter. The right tool for the job.

Does the job well!
tIt was my first time using this kind of tool and I didn't have any issues with it. It was very easy to use and it did the job well. I would totally recommend this product.

Probably works for thinner hard boards, avoid 1/2" or thicker
Probably would work well for 1/4" hardi-backer or cement board. I used it for 1/2" hardi-backer and could never get a clean cut. I found a circular saw blade specifically for hardi-backer way more useful.

Do yourself a favor and invest in a cheap laminate cutter
This tool was very hard to use. It didn't score well and my pieces of laminate floor did not have clean cuts from it. I would recommend investing the $60 or so on the laminate cutter. Probably a lot faster and easier to do with that. I definitely will invest in one for the rest of the laminate flooring I have to do yet. My hands are extremely sore from using it and I only did a small room and the blade is dull already. I wouldn't recommend this product. I'm going to see if I can get a refund on it since it is too dull to even use again. Poor quality product. Update...Trying to get refund and they are passing me on to the manufacturer. I don't even know who I'm supposed to contact for that. Bad seller. Bad customer service. I'll probably never get my refund. DEFINITELY DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
