A very handy bit of kit to have with HF mono band verticals..even if you don't have a car .

Only had the mag mount a few weeks. Only put it on the car twice. Silicon cover on the magnet is very poor quality. Should be made of proper rubber. Certainly not due to poor handling as it was stored in the boot when not used.

Good strong Magnet, Purchased this item to hold my aerial.

A nice strong magnetic mount, tested with a 1/2 wave vertical on 2m, holds up happily to 60mph (And probably a bit more). Once the rubber gets stuck this isn't moving!Update: after having this for a while i decided it was time to put a different antenna on when the connector snapped inside the housing letting it spin freely. It was a nightmare to free my antenna. The mount was ruined and had to be cut off leaving only the coax usable, atleast not all to waste!

Unfortunately neither of the two I purchased fit. the pitch on the thread was too tight on both so aerials won't go on 🙄

arrivato nei giusti tempi imballato bene fa il suo dovere, togliendo lo strato di gomma alla base attacca meglio. Se avete spazio consiglio quelli con una base più larga per antenne più lunghe di 60 cm ,comunque vale quello che costa

Ich habe mir den Magnetfuß für eine Diamond NR-770H gekauft. Geschwindigkeit bis zu 140 kmh sind kein Problem. Ob er bei schnelleren Geschwindigkeiten noch hält, wollte ich nicht probieren.Alles im allen gute Leistung für den Preis.
