An Excellend EDC Item!
If you're going to carry a tourniquet, this should also be on your person, as not all bleeding is on a limb. I've purchased multiple of these over the years for IFAKs. When buying a North American Rescue product, I know it's going to be exactly what it says it is. This gauze is small enough to carry in a pocket and an excellent addition to any first aid kit, as it has multiple medical uses.

I only purchase NAR
*I am NOT a professional* Fortunately, I have not had reason to break into my supply of NAR consumables and I hope that that continues. The only time I do use their products is when I am able to afford and attend civilian emergency medical training courses. I have been to three over the last five years (again I am not an expert /journeyman on anything medical related) and each time, those groups have elected to use NAR as the materials to train with. So my review is this: I trust these materials because my instructors trust these materials. My instructors have been former USCG rescue swimmers, USAF pararesucemen, USA 18D’s and Navy corpsman (FMF or “green side” docs). The packaging is sterile, easy to access and there are even instructions on the packaging for folks like me who may go blank when the adrenaline is pumping from having to do the real thing. I’m only here to encourage those looking for good kit to read the professional reviews here so that they can make the best decision for themselves. Even better(!) rather than trust reviews online, go google different training available in your area so you can get recommendations from instructors like I did. Best of luck and be safe!

Hope I will never need it, but it's so small and compact that carrying it feels like nothing.

Made in America
"Made in America" on the one that I purchased. Would buy again if they keep sending me those instead.

Best of its type on Amazon
This is the most compact gauze pack I’ve been able to find on Amazon. It will fit into even the smallest basic first aid kits. The packaging is sturdy and should keep the product clean and sealed until needed.

BEST deal on NAR Compressed Gauze!
Fastest shipping ever, 3 days BEFORE estimated! The NAR Compressed Gauze is a Fantastic product in perfect condition with a 5 YEAR expiration date! Super compact(fits into palm of man's hand), easy/instinctive to use, sterile. It contains a super compressed 4.5"x4.1yds 6-ply white gauze roll, as used by US Military. I couldn't be happier with it except for one detail: THIS IS NOT "S-Rolled Gauze" Item#: 30-0003 NSN#: 6510-01-605-2234 as shown in the item picture, but the price was BETTER than MSRP and the "description" of the item was spot on.

BUY IT.
I bought three of these for my trauma kit, and had to use one at a family party. They were amazing! I trained with them before and knew how to use them and they didn't fail. For the price, they should be in every first aid/trauma kit out there!
