Very sturdy indeed and pretty heavy as well. One thing I wish I would've thought about -- I use this shelf for two modems, so there are several cables that come out of the back of those devices. From there, the cables hang down off the back of the shelf and go to wherever they need to go to. But there is a bit of a sharp metal edge at the back of this rack that the cables rest on. It isn't "sharp" - but it's just a thin piece of metal that points straight up. For people who are really concerned about taking care of their cables, they may want to consider something else before using this shelf. Other than that, this thing is great!

It's a shelf. I probably have about half the weight limit on it works as expected and feels solid. Just make sure u check the depth isn't too much for your application.

Way too expensive for what it ends up being-and zero photos of the bottom of these so had to buy them to find out what they actually turned out to be and if indeed they were flat on their bottoms when installed turned upside down in the rack as all 3 had to be, and what the true dimensions turned out to be.

Pros: Designed to hold equipment that isn't rack mountable. Supports decent amount of weight. Metal seems thick enough to trust expensive equipment. Plenty of openings for air flow.Cons: Costly for what it is, metal. Not exactly solid. Maybe a cross brace on the bottom would make the shelf more rigid. Oh, and package shipped with 3 roaches from Amazon. I don't recall seeing bugs on my order page. At least I wasn't charged for it.Purpose: I'm using this to support my Time Warner Cable and Google Fiber modems. I also store Velcro straps

Solid construction. I have a full sized Marantz receiver on this thing and it holds it solid as a rock. No issues whatsoever installing.

When I opened the box I found a very big shelf. I thought the two I purchased were going to be too big. But after putting it in my home network rack I found it to be the perfect size. The bottom shelf is used for documents, extra cables, misc stuff. The top shelf is used for the cable modem. The shelves are perfect. I would definitely purchase again if needed.

Great shelf for monitor or other non-mountable device. Not much to say - it's a shelf and it does shelfy kinds of stuff perfectly.
