I've used this battery 3 times since my purchase...each time on hardwoods with one small rug in one room. I have 3 areas of the house that I run it in each time and I let it go until the battery gives out. Here are the run times...2:06/2:25/2:03. It gives me just over 2 hours per use. Had an old roomba had not been used in quite a while. A little cleaning a new VERY reasonably priced battery,and it works great. I would give it 5 stars but it seems like the original held a charge a little longer.. I'VE HAD THIS FOR OVER A YEAR.. It still works good holds a charge well and has presented no problems..

Do not last long.

I hate to review something so soon after I purchased it, especially something like an Extended Life Battery, but it's made a world of difference in my Roomba's performance. I guess I hadn't noticed how over the last 5 years my Roomba battery faded. It wasn't until the Roomba just wouldn't move and wanted to be charged all the time I broke down and bought the new battery. I'll update if anything goes wrong, but for now everything is clean, clear and I can walk on my hardwood without any dog hairs or other dirt and grit sticking to my bare feet!! That's worth the money right there!!! Cheers!

This product lasted just under a year in total. It didn't provide the same battery life as the oem roomba battery.

This is an excellent item. Our iRobot was making shorter and shorter runs and was not going back to the charging station. I was about ready to junk it when I saw the ad for a new battery on Amazon.com. I bought one, it came as predicted, I installed it and charged it. Since I had removed the old battery to make room for the new battery, I had to re-schedule the iRobot. From the first run until the writing of this review, the iRobot has run as it did when it was new. Currently, the iRobot runs anout 1.3 hours per session. As I said before, this is an excellent item. It does what they claim it will do.

After installing, the Roomba now does not charge when docked. I have to manually plug charger into side port and remember to unplug when fully charged to have Roomba do it's thing...

This replacement battery was competitively priced with other such batteries for the iRobot Roomba and I chose it based on price and other customer reviews. After giving the battery a thorough full charge, I immediately noticed the Roomba performing like new or possibly better. It runs longer and faster than before. Of course with a dying battery it was slowly losing power and I was actually thinking of replacing the entire unit. This replacement battery is a much more economical solution and I plan to keep the Roomba in service for some time to come. I plan to try letting the battery fully run down and then recharge to see if that extends battery life.
