We’ve had our zodiac ranger pool vacuum for about a year now and the flow valve that came with it is already broke and has always been hard to regulate and adjust to ensure the vacuum works properly. This one worked perfect straight out of the package, no adjustments needed. Will update again as time goes by regarding performance. Except price compared to manufacturer replacement.

For some reason my old one disappeared. This one works so much better. The spring tension is better. The old one I had never was quite right.

After about 5 years the valve that came with my MX8 broke. It must have been wearing out for a while because when I popped this bad boy in, my vacuum was climbing like it hadn’t climbed since it was brand new. Works better and isn’t ridiculously priced like the original. Definitely get this one if you need a replacement!

it was smaller than to hose

Looks like a direct match to the one that gave up the ghost on me. I use it with an automatic pool cleaner and this allows me to adjust the suction on the cleaner.

I like this because it fits fine and does the job at my 15 year old valve did before worked fine. I have no problem with it.

Quality of the plastic is less than expected. Not sure hiw long it will stay

It does't replace perfectly the one it is supposed to. need an adaptor to fit the skimmer. Thought I was doing a no trouble replacement but that was not the case.

After 2 month is not working anymore :(
