Avi-Cakes Fruit Delight Gourmet Bird Food

My conure eats them, but they are quite hard in the package. I’ve gotten them from a different store and they should be softer.

The media could not be loaded.  My parakeet, Pidgeot, won't eat pellets or fresh fruit or veggies. I got these for him to try to get more fruit into him. He loves them! He's such a little piggy when it comes to eating them. He manages to get himself covered in the seeds. It's cute though and that never happens with his other food. I caught him feeding his "friends" these as well. He's my only bird but he tries to feed them to his toys and even my cat. My cat isn't a fan. And tries to bury them. But it's not exactly a cat treat, so I would expect no less. My hope is these treats will help encourage him to try other new foods and maybe he will eventually eat fresh fruit and veggies.

My cockatiel prefers these to the original Avicakes. I use them mostly as a treat, but sometimes as regular food.

There is an uproar from the bird playground anytime my parrotlets see me reaching for this bag. Avi-Cakes, yum. My birds love this flavor. If it is fresh, it should be soft and easy to break apart with your fingers.

My 25 year old cockatiel goes crazy over these little squares of goodness! Everytime I mention "Fruit Delight Avi-Cake to him, he paces back and forth until I'm ready to drop them in his eating dish. Then he tells me to "back-off"! I'm hungry!" He devours them and takes a long nap afterward. He's content and so am I! Will continue to purchase Lefeber's products as long as my little buddy enjoys and satisfies his appetite as witnessed. We're giving this product an A+ Thanks Lefeber!

My birds love the product, what more is there to say

First time buying the fruit delight variety of Avi-Cakes - not sure if it's supposed to be loose? All three bags arrived with the brick already crumbly and broken up, as opposed to the original which arrives solid and I have to tear pieces off for my GCC.Attached pics to differentiate between the solid and crumbly description.I'll update if my GCC doesn't like them, he's pretty picky about freshness.
