Good empi parts kinda pricey

I broke the first gasket teying to get it onto an installed exhaust but that's on me. These are the right part for the 1979 VW SuperBeetle Convertible I have and they are good quality clamps. When I replace the exhaust, I'll order again.

I chose it because of price . It fit perfectly and I would recommend the VW Muffler Installation Kit Type 1. 1600cc Beetle item to others seeking the same part. All the parts were there and that makes the job much easier..

Used this kit to replace a number of leaking gaskets that hadn't seen much use but had been sitting in a barn for about 38 years. I noticed when I was driving that the exhaust noise was increasing. I used this kit to replace all the gaskets that the kit was designed to replace and it is much quieter. Sounds more like the way it looks.
