Amazing Value - Big bang for your buck!
Wow, what a bargain. In 1971, as an amateur student photographer I bought something similar for about $15. It had a hot shoe attachment, a $1 upgrade. In 1971 $15 was worth a lot more than today. Minimum wage was $1.25 - as an example. These are very well made. Some poor souls are complaining that they are not meant for "professional use".. Seriously??? In the 1980 I also bought something similar, as a professional photographer, and it cost me about $50. It was much better than this one, and for that much money, it better be. As far as I am concerned, this is a bargain at $20 - and I paid less than $10 - shipping included. But if you are a professional, charging $50 for an 8x10 portrait, you should be buying something more substantial. I am using the two I bought in my wood working shop. Very handy.On/off rocker switch for each head.I would not put a 60" reflector umbrella on it, but 48" should be no problem. For still life photography, even a 60" would work with a nice light stand, one of those $100 professional models, not a $14 model sold by LimeStudio.Any photographer buying equipment that costs less than a medium pizza is no professional. Serious armatures getting their feet wet can buy some great bargain stuff from LimeStudio. Well made for the price. If you are looking for something serious, for $30 you can get a one head fixture with umbrella mount for only $30 shipping included - another bargain from what I can see.Buy two for $60 instead of one of these for $10, if you consider yourself professional. Mostly Good
I used it right away with 2 large CFL 105w bulbs & an umbrella. However, adjusting the angle means bulbs and/or umbrella flop down - you actually need 2 people to help adjust the angle if it's anything other than sitting straight ahead. Could use a longer electrical cord, too. That said, it has 2 separate switches - one for each light - & that was a nice advantage. With the 2 lights, it meant I only needed one stand and one umbrella in tight quarters. Price was right but I would pay twice as much or more if they could correct the cheap plastic screw adjusting mechanism.

the lamp worked great.
Came in on time, well packaged. However, the silver ring that holds bulb in place fell out, and bulb would not stay in or light up . I didn't return it, because i needed it for a job. Once i was able to reinstalled the ring, the lamp worked great.

Not very durable, but works well. The metal ...
Not very durable, but works well. The metal socket on one head has fallen out after about a year of use. Doesn't tighten very well. Even with the flaws, I would buy another for the price.

The product in theory is great idea but poor quality
Arrived quickly, right out of the box had difficulty getting it to work and the silver rings that go around the bulb fell off first time. This will be a problem as I need to be very ware of this and not loose them. The product in theory is great idea but poor quality, cheaply made. Customer service was however great-I sent an email that I was having trouble getting it to work and within a few hours I had a wonderful helpful response.

not usable
The item is not usable. I have used a lot of studio equipment for flash photography and thought I would get some cheap lights for video so I can bump my fstop up to increase my in-focus range. Anyway, the item cannot support the weight of an umbrella. The umbrella doesn't creep up and down when in the holder but the the middle part that holds the umbrella holder cannot be tightened in the desired position and the weight of the umbrella will be too much and will not remain in place. I would be weary of similarly designed holders from other makers as well. If you are looking for a multi-bulb holder, consider one where the umbrella holder is on the same art as the bulb holder.

1 is absolutely fine, the other 1 had 1 dead socket out ...
You get what you pay for. I ordered 2 of these. 1 is absolutely fine, the other 1 had 1 dead socket out of the 2 straight out of the box. Too cheap to want to return.

Try something else
Item is extremely loose on stand so I'm scared to put any bulbs on there in fear of it falling down. Plastic screw socketholes poorly holds any grip
