I'm suffering from a tendinitis in my wrist and bought the lavender /eucalyptus duo pack in hopes of some relief and looked forward to the scents of essential oils. Well... It made my wrist feel great after a good soak but my goodness - the artificial fragrance smell was overwhelming! Reading the reviews I seem to be an outlyer on this opinion as everyone loves the scent. I should have paid more attention to the ingredients list showing "fragrance" listed before the essential oils instead of trusting reviews. I'm writing this to warn more sensitive people, that if you're like me and find artificial scents of any kind annoying, you probably won't like this. For context, I do love essential oil aromas. I opened the eucalyptus bag and was hit with a scent that smelled nothing like eucalyptus, but rather something that I would name "ocean breeze" or "spring morning" or some other vague title describing something that smells like your great aunt's house. I was desperate for a soak so I used a dose of it and kind of regretted it for the next 36 hours as the scent lingered in my skin and I had to be constantly reminded of it anytime my hand was anywhere near my face. The sink where I dumped it out after use smelled for a day and so did the room I sat in while soaking my wrist. The soak felt great though and my wrist definitely improved. So, long story short, if you don't like Yankee candles or scented laundry detergent get the scent free option (that's what I'm doing now, cause this stuff was otherwise great quality) but if you're someone who likes to whiff dryer sheets or bask in the scent of bed bath and beyond lotions, then have no fear, make the purchase and your whole house will be magically transformed into a delightful scented experience! Oh, and yeah, I never did open the lavender bag - I'm too chicken, lol. If I can't return it I'll try gifting it to someone who will appreciate it!
