DOES NOT WORK
Disappointed with this gun. I work for a forklift sales and service company and needed something to help make my job faster and be more efficient. I read a lot of the reviews about this brand but what had me sold was, one of my co workers has this same grease gun. After using his a few times, I thought this was a quality product and very good for the price so I bought it. When I received it, I tried using it the next day, put a fresh tube of grease in, primed it, put a few drops of air tool oil in, pulled the trigger and grease shot out...great. When I put it to actual use...nothing. Not to mention that I had to disassemble the tip to get it off the fitting every time. Tried it again, same result. I had to rapid fire the trigger like a semi-auto but it wouldn't pump any grease. Not happy with it. I'll be looking into returning this item if I can. Update to this review: I've been contacted by a representative from Bravex named Joey for an exchange for free or a refund. I have to say, I'm impressed with their customer service thus far and have agreed to an exchange. I'll see how the new grease gun works out. Thank you. I've up graded Bravex's rating to 5 stars for the new grease gun I was sent as my exchange, the geese gun works excellent. But what impressed me the most was their true dedication to customer service. They did not hesitate to reach out to me to make everything right and send a replacement. Bottom line, I'm very happy with the tool and the Bravex company/brand.

Update! Excellent customer service.
Update! All products can be good or not. Customer service is the hallmark of a good company. I was contacted by the distributor about their disappointment in my experience and stated that they were using my comment to improve the product. This is excellent an response. I got a second unit hoping for better results, Same issue. Oh well... The item came with a plug inserted in the side dispenser. To use this in a side coupling, this plug had to be screwed out and the other threaded adapter then screwed into the side. Following that, the plug had to be reinserted into the top dispensing port. Upon initially trying to remove the plug from the top I noticed slight difficulty and resistance. This was due to the assembler having cross threaded the plug and having stripped the threads of both the plug and the inside threads. Then I noticed the same had happened to the dispensing adapter. This is very disappointing as this item has everything else needed to make a great grease gun. But to ever want to switch to a different configuration would render it useless. Exceedingly bad quality control. I did get the item configured for side dispensing and it worked great for that use only. If I ever wanted to use all of the features of this I would be out of luck. Very unhappy with the severe lack of quality control and materials used. I otherwise really wanted to like this item a lot.

SO much easier than a hand pumped gun!
I've only used it one afternoon so far, to lube the 4 hubs on my travel trailer. But it was SO much simper than pumping the grease by hand! It seems very solid and well made. I like the push-button trapped air release (which I didn't really need). I should have bought this years ago...

Leaks EVERYWHERE!!!!
Okay, just so anybody reading this knows I'm not just some backyard mechanic. I've been a prototype engineering tech for 20+ years. Certified in everything from mig, tig, machining, tech and a degree in mechanical engineering. Almost all my tools are Matco, Snap-on or S&K. So I'm not just talking out my proverbial @ss here. Worst mating surfaces on any product I've ever owned. I bought it to lube the triple bearings on my HD Touring. Worked great for that. After that it leaked out every orifice on the thing. Threaded, sealed or press-fit it didn't matter. Relieved the plunger to take the pressure off even before putting it away, tied a bag over the zirk fitting because we all know the residue will leak out a bit. But after this thing bleed everywhere I took it apart, cleaned every surface, thread and o-ring. Used pipe tape where applicable and put it all back together. Leaked just as bad but through every orifice that I have no control over. So don't bother. If it's a one time use and you want to spend the money/time to get it then it'll work fine. Just don't put it in a box or anywhere you can't handle the mess later. For those that will question the quality of the lube just in case....well, it was pretty expensive high temp stuff. I don't want grease running down my triple/forks in the alabama heat.

Item has to be filled with a grease filler or by hand.
Item comes with wrong air fittings for most air hoses.

best grease gun ever purchased
Put in john deere extra thick grease cartridge. Easy to load and air pocket eliminated within seconds of pulling trigger. Used old 1 gallon compressor with regulator set at 40. Grease shot out each time with simple pull of trigger. one shot or 2 shots, then a continuous trigger pull-equal to about 10 single shots for my snowthrower auger. Worked flawlessly on 5 of my machines and on 3rd cartridge. Now I have 7 extra manual pistol trigger and pump grease guns that I'll never use again. This gun also never leaks.

Good quality for the price
Most grease guns I have purchased leak and jam and are difficult to reload. I just wanted this for general domestic use on the lawn tractor and some other garden machinery and my trailer. It works pretty well and so far after multiple heat cycles of weather here in WI USA in a cupboard in my garage it hasn't leaked to date. Overall pretty pleased and would recommend it.

Well built and easy to use
This is an excellent grease gun. Well built and easy to use. In the past I've had the lever-style guns which require two hands to use. The trigger-action of this gun is great for one-handed operation. I think the instructions that came with it were out of date or not for this exact gun. It talked a lot about needing to prime it etc which this gun does not need. One feature I'd like to see added is a quick-release of the fitting. this fitting goes on with effort and holds on, which is great, but when you want to take it off, it is a real struggle especially when your hands are greasy. The only reason I am subtracting 1 star is because of the lack of a quick release.
