Honestly pleasantly surprised by the quality given the price point. Instructions were clear and not poorly written.Installed in an Ikea Sektion 30Wx30H wall cabinet but modified by cutting out the bottom. Easiest to rip cut the bottom panel before assembly, rather than cut after assembly. Will not work well with the Ikea integrated hood wall cabinet.It's comparatively quiet, especially on low. High is loud enough to require yelling over to hear someone in an adjacent room. That being said, the noise is just from rushing air and not any vibrations.

Searched for an exhaust fan that would be strong enough, yet take up as little space as possible. Also wanted lighting in it that had replaceable bulbs that were easily available. This fit the bill. It does take up cabinet space, but I didn't want a hood sticking out to bump my head on every time I cooked. My husband had a friend helping with installation, and our stove had been pulled out of it's spot to make things easier. It took a couple hours to install, due to the fact that the hole for the vent pipe needed cut and pipe installed. Thank goodness the stove was out of the way. Trying to do all of that would have been difficult otherwise. The suction is great, even on low which is the setting I use most. The light is also good. It is loud, even on low, but no worse than other events. The stainless steel looks nice but the unit is really not very noticeable at all unless you are at the stove. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I absolutely love the sleek look. It works very well. The light is very bright. It has replaced the night light. The price was, surprisingly, inexpensive. We paid the contractor to install it. There were no issues. Also, I bought extra filters from the company. The fan is very powerful. However, it is horribly loud on its highest setting. Maybe it’s my ears. My husband and son don’t mind but, I do. Overall, this is a great buy.

This is LOUD, NOT QUIET AT ALL. I purchased a lighter CFM to get quietness but on the lowest setting it's so loud and annoying. It is sleek and looks good but have to buy something else. Cannot deal with this 'truck' in the kitchen. Very disappointed.Turks and Caicos

The media could not be loaded. I wanted something I wouldn’t see hanging down or out from my cabinets. I also didn’t want to vent to the outside since I live in an old row home.My contractor just installed this and it exceeds my expectations for design and power. It is loud on the highest settings, but you kind of expect that, right? The lights work really well and are super bright.Contractor noted he had to take the bottom panel out of the cabinet AND remove part of the back brace at the bottom of the cabinet to get it to fit perfectly. Also, the hinges we had on the cabinet recessed too far in to work with the hood pushed up in there. He’s ordering new ones so it’s no big deal, but just a note for DIYers.

Powetful but Very noisy! I Mitigated somewhat by applying a gasket between the removable baffle and the cover, but still resonates in addition fan noise. Cover attaches to body by only two screws (one each on the long ends). Adding two more screws, one each at mid point of long sides will reduce resonance , and I wonder why no holes are provided so I have drill thru the stainless steel .

So happy I decided to go with Hauslane range hood! I love how it’s high quality, low profile, POWERFUL suction and aesthetically fitting to my all white kitchen! The installation instructions were easy and straight to the point. Overall it does the job and looks great. Highly recommend!

Just recently renovated our kitchen. We came across the Hauslane brand and were surprised with their selection of range hoods. We decided to order the R100. The R100 allowed us to install it in our cabinet creating a clean new look. Love the powerful suction and the quality of materials.
