A good all-rounder sewing book. It covers most topics. I found a few projects to try. I have enjoyed making the tote bag. I haven't sewed for a few years, so this book was a great refresher for me. It has also inspired me to try a few new things too, such as shirring.

I bought this book as a New Sewer, it has been a wonderful reference book and is easy to follow and understand with all parts covered and some patterns at the end to complete.

I have been sewing for some time and wanted to refine some of my self-taught techniques. This book is better suited to someone who is only just starting. Clear and concise, but not a lot of details.
