It installed easily enough. I was initially unable to set a time range of 2300 to 0600. It would not accept these values. As it turns out, it will not accept a time range spanning midnight. After calling tech support, I found I had to set a range of 2300 to 2359, then 0000 to 0600.The tech support guy walked be through setting two ranges with no explanation, it made no sense until I realized that the problem was spanning midnight. I kept saying to him, I only want one range, not two. The tech guy never said the root cause, just to set two date ranges. I figured out the root of the problem eventually. If this had been in the instructions, it would have gotten five stars from me.

Love these camera's. Bought 3 to cover bed room, living room/back door and office/ main entrance. Love that you can change motion detector, sound detector and even motion zones. Before I figured out motion zones it got real annoying getting notifications every 5 seconds. Only reason I dropped a star is the double sided tape pieces do not hold. Within 5 mins of being up it either lost hold on wall or lost hold on camera. Thankfully camera was placed above stuffed animal hammock. Do plan on getting a fourth camera for our daughter's room.

Right now I cannot give an honest review. Reason is I dont know if its the camera or me. I have two of them setup in my house and when i click on them thru my cell phone the image keeps fading in and out and the live feed stops on both seconds after video comes in. Thought I was more savy on this stuff. Help !

It works well at notifying you that there is activity but the recording starts 10 seconds before the actually activity and only runs for a total of 20 seconds before it cuts off. So in reality you only get a 10 second clip of whats going on. The live view works well but takes about 5-10 seconds to open the app and view live.The motion is overly sensitive and captures light shifts so 95% of the activity picked up is of nothing. Even with the sensitivity at the lowest.This is a great camera for pets or monitoring kids but certainly not a good security cameraPlus I can’t figure out how to configure an SD card to work since the option never comes up to record to the SD card

I love the camera, I really wanted a battery operated camera because I wanted to place it outdoors. It was my mistake not battery operated but electric. . I found a way to use it. I placed it on my window sill facing out doors and takes great pictures of my garage and anyone that comes in. Great little camera for for a great price

This is the second camera we have purchased. My husband actually has the first one on our front porch. We've had it over 6 mo now, every time someone steps on or near the porch a notification will be sent to our phones. Easy to connect to wifi, night vision is good quality. We are able to respond to anyone through the camera mic if needed. On windy days your phone may go off depending on how strong the wind is....but it didn't bother us. I love being able to see who's at my door when I'm not home or if I'm busy doing something and I cant get to the door quick enough, I can alway ask them to give me a minute.

The old saying, “You get what you pay for”, is especially true here. The picture quality is ok. The sound quality is ok. My real problem is that the camera only records for two minutes at the most at a time. Then it needs to reset itself or do what ever it needs to do and it will begin to record again but for only another 2 minutes. For the price it’s ok. But I know there’s other cameras out there that do more and are much better at it. But that’s my opinion.

It seems that the camera was doing ok for awhile until I notice some thing wrong ... about the online it doesn’t really stay on to long or bunks off and then I can’t see what’s going on so I think the WiFi or internet at the home has a bad connection or mabey someone is playing around with the internet who knows but I don't rate it a 5 more like a 3 not that great? Price for that not to bad?
