My husband build this swing bed, seen in the pictures, using the jute rope to hang & suspend it from our porch’s ceiling. The rope is excellent quality. The width and color was as expected.

Sept 2020: I made several accessories for our forest adventure playground. Only left a picture of a rope ladder but will add more later. This cord is sturdy and beautiful, yet soft to the hands while weaving and climbing. I’m sad that the smell went away after a couple of weeks. I left a few feet in my office drawers because the smell reminds me of the finest tea I have had while abroad.July 2021: I have made several more things with this hemp rope, all of those for exterior load-bearing uses in FL (subject to high temperatures and rain). Last week I made my third order and completed my kids’ swings and they are beyond exited. See picture. You can notice there is some give (the knots above the swing seats were against the wood but not anymore), but this give is expected from this as well as from other natural materias such as cotton.The older ropes around the playground continue to bear all their weight (ninja line, bridge/circus net support, stairs handrails, gymnastics bar support in between 2 trees) although they are now darker (maybe dirty) and knots that I had made in them are now impossible to undo (which was the purpose).Cutting through the 7/8” rope is an ordeal in itself, so I’m not sure if that review that says it broke is legit. I can use this rope to tow my full 600 lb capacity cart no issues.Lastly, I love the stressed look of all things I have made and will continue to use this rope for my kids playground/treehouse. I highly recommend it.

Well, when I received the rope it seems good and strong. 6 months later, kids playing outside and rope just snapped in half. No signs of wear first. I guess that goes to show you that looks can be deceiving. Daughter seems ok but she took a good fall from that rope.

I bought this rope because of the large diameter size to hang a 6ft Oak bed swing. It looked fabulous for a week or so then as it stretched and tightened it lessened to a smaller diameter. And frayed quite a bit . It works great but be aware it won’t look as asthetically refined as originally.

We use this rope on a bridge in our backyard and it’s perfect! Looks great, nice quality and easy to work with!

bought for tree climbing, this offered the largest diameter/ grip. Pleased with the product for its length and especialy for its relatively soft fibers! :-) Not sure but seems its been lightly oil-treated for outdoor enduranceOTOH the ends need to be re-wrapped with cord or wire; this plastic tape on fraying ends business? please girl

Other reviews said this rope had an odor when they opened the package. I found no odor whatsoever when I got it and unpackaged it. This rope is just what I expected and will do what I need just fine. Seems a good value for the money.

Great rope, used it for a rope fence. 40mm spade drill bit is perfect size if passing through wooden posts. Leave plenty of slack for shrinkage if its going to get wet, approx 10% to 15%.

Bought this to go around my new decking area. Looks great.

Nous l'avons installé comme main courante sur un petit pont dans notre cour. Après la première pluie, la corde était beaucoup plus raide, car elle avait rétrécie. Le produit est très beau, mais nous aurions dû prévoir plus long.
