Great quality, scratch resistant, easy installation and durable...
Installed this about 9 months ago in 13' 328i and it has not budged. Covering up wood trim that I wasn't too fond of. Installation was easy and it holds up great for reheating, removing, and placement while performing the install. Sticks great around corners and sharp edges without glue or additional adhesives. Just clean your surfaces well. Great scratch resistance, none that I haven't been able to buff away as of yet. It has an exposed carbon weave where you can feel the texture, which is actually pretty cool. Holding form great; I've pulled off the pieces to do other installs like stereo, wiring, etc. and it shows no signs of coming undone underneath. I would definitely recommend for those who don't want to spend $500 for an overlay on their daily driver. If done right, this looks just as good. Went on and did my steering wheel trim as well. 3m wrap
Good quality 3m faux carbon fiber wrap. Material felt thick and looks real from a short distance once applied. Material cut easily and softened nicely with little heat. Having never wrapped before, but experience with window tint there was a slight learning curve on the first piece. Material covered and stuck to dirt bike plastics without issue. Happy with how the finished product turned out. Would buy again.

Holy heck this works great on my BMW dash and other interior trim
I used this on the interior trim of my 2015 BMW F32 (428xi Coupe), which was a burled walnut (blech). I did the dash trim piece, the door pulls, and the center console piece. All in, removing trim and wrapping and re-installing took about an hour. MUCH faster than I expected.a 5x1 foot roll was JUST enough to cover everything, but I'll get 2 rolls next time so I have more to work with.I used a dual temp heat gun on the low setting.Ironically, the hardest piece was the smallest one -- the bigger pieces were much easier. The vinyl is VERY easy to work with, and is very forgiving. I thought it would be so sticky that one touch and you're screwed if it's off... not at all the case.I cut the piece of vinyl, then laid it on a towel sticky side up.I washed the interior trim surface with 91% isopropyl alcohol and dried with a microfiber rag.I stuck each piece in the middle of the vinyl and then gently pushed it in place, peeling off and re-applying many times to get it laid smoothly. For the curved bits and edges, a 2 second blast of heat and a solid pull was all that was needed to get it wrapped nicely.

Probably the best choice in vinyl for a do-it-yourselfer
Although this is probably the most expensive vinyl wrap out there, it is also probably the highest quality in terms of looks, application, and durability. I have used this stuff for quite sometime in a variety of ways. From paintball equipment/parts, to car parts, to phone and laptop covers.Looks-Very real looking design and pattern that is 3-D and textured to truely look like carbon fiber. Some cheaper brands out there definitely skimp on this aspect. They do sell a variety of carbon fiber colors (I believe a blacker one, a silver/black one, and a gold/black one) so search around and double check to make sure this is the best option for you.Application-Of all the vinyl I have worked with, this is one of the easiest. Very good stretchability and takes heat well to further aid in this. If your doing it for the first time and using heat (blow dryer or heat gun) keep in mind a LITTLE bit of heat goes a long way with this stuff... a lot less than you're expecting. If you're wrapping an item with curves or contours, I would recommend this product above others I have used.Durability-Let me start by saying I rarely apply any adhesive primers or bottom coats to aid to this sticking on. I find doing this makes removal more difficult and/or leaves sticky reside (and there most likely will be a time you'll want to remove it). It takes a lot to scratch or damage this product. Two items that really show its duability are my car's front spoiler and a paintball gun barrel. The car is kept outside in Virginia, so hot humid summers and cold snowy winters. Two years and never a problem with peeling or damage. SInce it's on the bottom I cannot attest to sun damage though. The barrel goes through being dragged on the ground and all sorts of elements on a weekly basis. Again, almost no wear.A word to the wise: If you're wrapping for the first time and doing a somewhat large area, you may want to buy two rolls. It doesn't go as far as you'd expect when you compare the roll you get to what you image 5' of the stuff looking like. It will also give you some extra to practice with or try wrapping an item a second time. It's forgiving wrap, but it looks easier in videos to apply than it actually is (it's by no means hard, but you can expect a small learning curve).I would recommend it and give it four stars. It's great, quality material, and especially good if you're new to wrapping items. I'm taking one star away for the price. You can find good wraps much cheaper, but on here a lot are hit or miss. Many cheaper options also are not as forgiving for novice home users as well (sometimes spending the extra money ends of saving you time, effort, and sometimes even money in the long run).

Attractive and easy to work with
I've used many different "vinyl" car wrap kits and this product is one of the best by a good margin.Very easy to work with, reapply and maneuver even after solid mistakes it was relatively forgiving. The wrap looks great much better than mostThe disappointing aspect was that of the vinyl being sensitive to waxes, polish, and detailing sprays or finishers. It becomes very fade and worn looking if any product at all is accidently wiped into, onto or over the vinyl. 3M claims that you can treat it as you would the paint on your vehicle. Well I personally use a plethora of products to keep and maintain the paint on my car and it is NOT a good idea to do this to the actual wrap as it's immediately rendered ugly and beat up in appearance.3M? You guys could do better and the claim that when appling the vinyl you are able to "slide" it into position before it adheres is not anywhere near the truth I found it to be almost magnet like in response to getting near the surface and when laid upon the vehicle there was zero "sliding" into place. All said and done its a good buy and better than most yet by nol means perfect.
