Bought theses years ago still all are bright, pleasing light temperature. Excellent replacement for halogens but need to replace halogen transformer with led transformers. Don’t flicker at all, instant on. Make sure you use G4 led socket as well

I purchased these bulbs to replace an old dim incandescent light in an over-the-stove range hood in my RV. My goals were simple: (1) Get brighter cooking area on stove (2) Keep good color balance for indoors. I have to say these bulbs performed perfectly. I installed them in my range hood and the difference compared to the old bulb was like night and day. These are brighter and have a more pleasing color. I really like the 3000K color balance. I had earlier tried a 2700K, but it was too yellow, and I don't like the cool white (5000-6000K) because it's too harsh, almost blue. These bulbs (3000K) strike a perfect balance. One interesting feature these bulbs have is that they have internal electronics (bridge rectifier, I believe) to get the DC polarity correct for the LEDs, so there is no + or - terminal, you can plug them in either direction and they work fine. One other thing to note is that these bulbs are not dimmable. That was not an issue for me. I'm using them over a stove, and I want them either ON or OFF. I'm not trying to strike a specific mood for cooking by dimming the lights. So my summary: These LED bulbs met or exceeded all my expectations, I'm happy with them and would buy them again.

Bright and lasts for a long time. I was worried that after a while it would lose some of the luminescence but it’s still as bright as when I installed it. That’s why I waited so long to write a review. I am extremely pleased this product.

40W equivalent was bright, but couldn't measure lumens. This was outdoor use in landscape light fixture so heat should not be an issue. Auto timer is on about 12-hours each day, so 4,000 hours per year. Theoretically, should last 20,000 to 30,000 hours, but experience with a wide variety, including Toshiba (left the LED business), PLT (hi-quality independent), etc. lasts only about 10,000 to 15,000. Some Phillips indoor LED 60w type E26, are going strong, lasting 6+ years at 8 hours each day (made in China, but holding well). Basically, these are likely to be around 10,000 to 15,000 hours.

I bought these for garden lights to replace ones that had gone out. They fit perfectly and are nice and bright and a fraction of the price of store bought ones. Fantastic bulbs, fast shipping too.

G4で最も明るいLEDを探し求めて購入しました。キジマの4灯ペンダントライトに使っています。本当は60w相当の明るさがあればいいんですが、この40w相当がG4の限界で、多分売られている商品で私の知る限りいちばん明るいです。400lmくらいかなと思っています。これまでは350lm表記の物を使っていましたが、少し明るくなった気がします。 難点は、ちょっと大きいので消灯時に電球そのものが少し目立ちます。あと白熱灯ほどでは無いですが、まぁまぁ熱くなります。 日本語のレビューがほとんど無かったので少し不安でしたが、時間はかかりましたがちゃんと届いたしきちんと使えました。 800lmと書いてあるのに全然明るくないもの（推定200-300lm程度）や、1000lmと書いてあるけど点灯しない物など、Amazonで粗悪品に何度が当たりましたが、これは大丈夫だと思います。（粗悪品はAmazonカスタマーサポートでどちらも返金してもらいました）長期使用の耐久性はまだ分かりません。 600lm以上をこれからも探し続けますが、しばらくはこちらをリピですね。

I purchased a new light fixture that has hanging round glass crystals for my dining room. Halogen lights made it appear yellowish. They were bright but it gave my fixture almost an antique look. I replaced the halogen lights with these LED's which are super bright white. They have made my light look sparkly and new! They are round and emit light 360 degrees which is also a huge plus. These are so great! I have no idea how long they will last as I just put them in but I will comment again in a few months. Would definitely recommend!

Can’t yet review longevity but fantastic color temperature and brightness. Bought six as replacements for 20 watt halogens. Should have done this years ago.

The larger size of these bulbs isn't an issue with my kitchen pendant lights. They give a nice warmer glow consistent with the 3000K rating. They are as bright as the previous bulbs I had and better than what I could find at the big box stores. I only rate the brightness 3 though, I would have put it lower but it does meet my needs so don't want to be overly severe. My existing LEDs were 2 W and 195 or 200 lumens (two different bulbs). These say they are 5 W and 450 lumens so I was expecting much more light. They clearly are not that spec. so if you need a good 200 lumen 2W equivalent by all means get them. If you are expecting bright LED light you will be disappointed.
