Works as advertised
The part arrived in excellent shape without any instructions--so search around online if you would like to do it yourself. Now a couple things to consider:This was used in my 2005 Honda Element. The passenger side regulator failed--diagnosed-I heard a pop when lowering my window and it failed to raise again. When removing the regulator, the springs on it had been popped. It is difficult to see in the image on amazon, but the springs are next to the motor connecting the two cables. The OEM part number listed by TYC,72210-SCV-A02, is actually different than what it is supposed to be. Since this is the passenger sider regulator, the OEM number is supposed to be: 72210-SCV-A03. A02 is for the driver side. When finishing the installation, I needed to connect the door panel's window control to complete the circuit and lower/raise the regulator such that I could secure the window before putting everything back together. [The holes in the door frame only allow for a certain range of window heights for easy installation/removal]Now that the product is installed, everything is working like before. An 8mm socket will help with the removal and insertion of the bolts.FWIW: Shipping from tyc originated in Dallas and shipped to me in San Antonio--as far as I could tell with the tracking.Edit/Update[almost 3 years later]: So first update, it should be 10mm instead of 8mm socket with a bit of an extension. Second update, the TYC regulator failed after almost three years of use. Reordered the same part and replaced it. Works as advertised. Lets see for how long this time...

Work sign good price
This works great for a 2006 Honda Element. It is not as fast going up and down and the OEM window motor though.

Saved hundreds probably.
I was going through my neighborhood and when I rolled down my window I heard a "clink" sound. Turned to my right and saw my window slowly falling down. Pulled over and grabbed my window before it fell all the way down, shoved a Pilot G2 pen between the window and sill. Left it there for two weeks because I didn't want to deal with it. A couple days ago I decided I should get around to replacing it. I knew how to take a door panel off because I had a 96' Jetta that failed me every chance it got. Took the door panel off and took out the window motor. Got amped up for a bit and called the Honda in town. They wanted $145 for the replacement. I thought to myself, I was still saving money doing it this way rather than taking it somewhere. Hopped in the car and drove one block before realizing that I should check Amazon. Sure enough, they had one for...$45 I think. Got here in two days and installed it with no problem.

Not knockoff junk!
After pulling out the old window regulator and comparing it to the new one, I noticed a few things. The welds on this one are larger and the cable attachment points look beefier. All the other parts look exactly the same, even the brand on the electric motor is the same, which is great by me because that never failed on the original part! Very easy to put in and WAY WAY WAY cheaper to do this yourself than pay $100+ per hour to have someone else do it. Honda really does make replacing parts yourself really easy and as long as you have a 2nd set of hands for about 3 minutes of the job, this is cake to do. The only hard(ish) part of the whole replacement is removing the small triangle of plastic in the corner of the window. Just grab and pull it hard, and even if you break the plastic a little it will still fit right back on without any rattling and stay in place after slamming the door... and will still look like nothing ever happened to it. 100% satisfied with this.

Not Honda OEM, but "works".
Works, in fact works just fine but that's the problem. You get what you pay for. This is an inexpensive replacement part. I went in our 2005 Honda Element EX. It fit right, all the connections went in right, it fired up the first time no problem. Two years ago we had to replace the other power window, and it was with an OEM Honda part. The motor from Honda is stronger, doesn't sound strained at all. This motor has a different sound all together and almost seems to be working hard just to get the window up.If you're looking to save money, and don't mind a small difference in quality, this works. We got it in June, it's now almost September and everything seems fine. It's just strange that the motor isn't as powerful as OEM. Corners were cut somewhere. If top quality is important to you, stick with an OEM Honda part. There is a difference here, but the price of this one is hard to pass up.

very affordable
I bought this product a couple of weeks ago, had my mechanic installed it in about 30-45 minutes, and was on my way. It works great, I would say it is a tiny bit noisier than the stock Honda one, and might be a split second slower than the Honda one. That being said, I would still choose this over the Honda one. The total cost for this one, including the part, one day shipping($24.95), and the $40 the mechanic charged me, it was still $25 cheaper than what my local Honda dealer wanted to charge me for just the part alone!($140)I guess time will tell if this part holds up as good as the Honda one does(both went out on my 2006 Honda Element within 3 months from each other as of 12/10/11)I would definitely recommend this to everyone, especially the do-it yourself'ers as this did not look difficult to install at all, hardest part was taking off the door panels.

Not to OE spec
Nowhere near OE comparable strength and speed. Very slow motor, sounds like it is struggling to get where it is going. You get what you pay for, that being said, well packaged, price should be a bit lower. Install is straight forward with the clubs also being included
