Good printer as expected. Easy set up.

Very, still going strong

out old printer went out and so I headed to amazon to check them out. I came across this Epson workforce and it does exactly what we needed it to. we hooked it up to out family network so three computer and three phones (yes I said phone (iPhone's)) can print wireless to it. we have had it a couple of months and its telling up we need to get more ink. I think they try and push you to the higher capacity cartage so you replace it less often. I will try and update on the ink thing when I find out more. back to the printer. its a great printer and does a lot for your money. two thumps up.

Dear Epson, I love your products. Wow. It is December 2022. I was looking to buy an ADF scanner because using my Epson Perfection VE70 photo flatbed scanner was becoming tedious. Then, like a flash, I remembered that my cute little Epson WF-2540 printer included an ADF and flatbed scanner (as well as WiFi printing, fax and copy capabilities). That's when I happened to pull up my original invoice, and I noticed that I purchased from Amazon for $89.99 on January 7th, 2013: its 10th birthday is just weeks away, and it still performs flawlessly. Whoa, dude. Congrats to Epson! Oh, and a shoutout to Amazon who keeps my purchase records online, which saves me hours and hours of time and frustration. I use the order lookup feature frequently, if not daily. Thank you

I rarely write negative reviews yet I lost money and time on this all in one failure. From unpacking setup was easy, however I waited several months to unpack due to moving. Blue / Cyan ink never worked - will not align print head or scanner without Cyan Ink. Bought a second authentic Epson 'Cyan' cartridge that did not resolve the issue. Likely a bad print head from day one. Buy extended warranty, XL Cartridges, and burn through good paper using black or greyscale printing only. Black ink prints, yet leaves 'strike-through' type blank lines. Black ink cartridge printed less than 50 pages of basic text. Pop-up tries to sell XL cartridges that likely print a full 100 basic pages. By far the worst printer I've owned since 2001; in College, when tech support still charged a fee for support. Epson support took me on a trail to no where eventhough the Reps. we're kind and patient. This will make an excellent range target or giant paperweight. I utilized it for 74 pages of Black ink and gave up. Cannon solved the problem by selling me a new printer with less expensive cartridges that work.

Here is an equipment that replaces the printer,fax,copier and scanner for home or small business use,with radio link, that costs around $90! No wonder it is very hard to find regular,stand alone printers any more.I set the WF-2450 up with minimal effort and any problems I encountered were due to my mistakes. My computer did not sense the program CD and I had to download it from the Epson site which took about an hour. The controls on the control panel are easy to use for a complex machine like this. If you do not have the USB cable to connect the computer to the printer,better get one ahead of time(Printer side connector is unique- or is it a standard connector for all-in-ones?). I checked all the functions,except radiolink, and am satisfied that this Epson unit is a great buy and does what it is supposed to do. Buy without hesitation!
