Review with Pros & Cons
Overall this is a great book and resource for Nikon Coolpix B700 cameras. Here are the pros and cons as I see it:Pros:1. This book is a great resources of information if you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, I have been using this particular camera for over a year and I learned some new functions and I have some features I doubt I will use often, but it will be fun to experiment with them.2. The motion picture section is also very useful, especially to someone like myself that primarily focuses on stills.3. The book is clearly written, easy to follow, and has decent size print.4. The index in the back is well done and helpful as is the contents section in the front.5. 172 pages, so very complete.Cons:1. I wish the book was done on higher quality gloss paper so the pictures would be of higher quality and more helpful as examples.

Great Instruction Manual
I am happy I purchased this book. I did have the Kindle version but it is cumbersome and hard to navigate. I had bought this camera a couple years ago because of its simplicity and the fact that you can shoot in raw. This book is full of instructions and pictures which I love. I can look up what I want to learn easily. I can now really utilize the camera. I do love my Kindle books and online manuals but when it comes to manuals I feel you really need the paper product.

Great book
I am a hobbyist as far as cameras go. This book is very concise in explaining all the buttons and how to create awesome photos! Somewhere I read this was not configured for kindle, but it works beautiful on my kindle fire! Glad I purchased! I may have to refer time and again, but I am highly pleased.

A wealth of knowledge
Have had my B700 a little over a year and wish I had found this book then! So many shots I have now could have been so much better. Some I will probably never get another chance at. (Wildlife) If you have Nikon 700B, you need this book unless you are a professional and already know it . Easy to understand with screenshots.

Very nice guide book
A very nice introduction to the B700. Whether this is your first camera or 50th you can get something from this book. While there is a good amount of "basic" info as found in the manual, it adds explanation, context, and tips. The book goes into detail about all the cameras features, how to use them, and suggestions on when to use them. I do not regret buying. Easy to read and follow along.

Best information available.
I hesitated at first whether to buy. After purchase I wondered how I operated camera without it. Info so clear - tells exactly how to change settings. Tells so much what this camera will do that I did not know. In depth details are the best.

Love it.
The B700 is a fantastic camera with almost too many great functions. Figuring it all out is NOT easy, and I've been into photography most of my life.Using this book along with the manual, made the learning process go very easy.

Best book available but camera itself is a bit difficult
Its the only independent guide I know so I am rating it high. I am reading it a bit slow. The WiFi still confuses me so I gave up and just use the cable connection, so easy. Next summer I am going on a two day photography holiday. Digital is so different. Not the 2.4 to f22 I know, it's more like f7 and some limited f stops as the sensors do not need the light I guess. The camera suffers with two function buttons, unlike the old film cameras where all controls were immediately visible except ev exposure compensation settings.

Highly recommended.
Very useful book covering the B700's many features with lots of examples and suggestions to get the best from the camera. Much more user friendly then the instruction manual that came with the camera. Well produced book with good layout and indexing. It is printed on matt paper so the pictures are slightly less crisp then if on glossy paper - but a very small niggle. Thoroughly recommend this to B700 users.

A Beginners Guide? I think not
For an amateur photographer like me this was extremely helpful and useful in showing me the full functions of my camera choice. this is product specific. but anyone that owns the B700 needs this publication to get the full potential of their photography with this camera

Great introduction to the camera but poor production
As an amateur who doesn’t understand all the ins and outs of a dslr I bought the camera as easy way to get better more professional photos and this book was the perfect introduction to get me up to speed. Great and easy chapters and straight forward explanations made it easy to follow and quickly improved results and knowledge and my camera purchase more enjoyable. However, I found the illustrations very strange, both quality and subject matter, quite often not even relevant to the associated text, and I sure the first excuse will be be the dreadful production quality of the print. No gamble taken here; unlikely to sell a huge quantity so really cut on the quality. A shame for such a great quality camera that the book is let down in this aspect.

Fitst Impression
Just bought my B700 and wanted a comprehensive guide. Many of the reviews criticise the quality of the images in the book. I have downloaded a kindle copy and I must say the images are excellent and although they appear small on my android phone, I can hold my finger on a particular image and if I select the option to zoom, a new screen opens on which I can use two fingers to enlarge the image. An advantage of having I copy on my phone is that I can carry the manual around with me for reference when I am out shooting photos.I cannot comment on the book's content yet but looking at the table of contents, it looks pretty comprehensive.
