I love the sunny side up series, but this is the best book in the series . It is very lifelike, like all the other books,and I can relate to sunny. Doing something “nerdy” with boys, like reading comics or talking for hours about comics them, or in Sunny’s case D and D.I am not calling these things nerdy. I love comics. But, don’t let people,even your best friend,boy or girl. Don’t get peer pressured into stopping,quitting, or leaving something you love. I took this advice from someone else who told it to me. This is just a comment about a book, but if you’re reading this comment, I hope if this happens to you, take my advice. I love this book so much.

"Sunny Rolls the Dice" was a fantastic find for my daughter Layla! This graphic novel perfectly captures the challenges of growing up, with Sunny navigating the tricky waters of middle school and friendship. Layla was completely absorbed in the story, especially with the fun twist of Dungeons & Dragons that adds a unique element to Sunny’s adventures. The illustrations are bright and expressive, making it easy for Layla to connect with the characters and their experiences. As a parent, I appreciate how the book touches on themes of self-identity, peer pressure, and finding your own path—all in a way that’s relatable and fun for young readers. This book is another great addition to her collection, and I’m happy to see her so engaged with a story that’s both entertaining and meaningful. "Sunny Rolls the Dice" is a must-read for kids who enjoy a good coming-of-age story with a dash of creativity!

i’ve always loved d&d from the day when i was 4 and my sister came home from a friends and told us all about d&d and then came the day where i watched Stranger Things and i was D & D YES!!! then i started to play. and i also always hanged out with boys bc i’m scared of girls (IM NOT A PICK ME IM JUST SCARED OF GIRLS THERE MEAN) and i’ve had some really toxic friends that were mean to me bc of what i liked so that’s why i like this book and relate

Great read! I wish there was more detail, I feel like once it gets good, it ends. I wish there was more of a climax and resolution in the end. Maybe not worth an entire 8 dollars.

I like it it s book about being your self not what others went you to be be yourself all ways be yourself

This was a great book to read on a night where you can sit back and relax and read a good book. I love how it shows pictures in the end how she has actually done these things before. She is a great author and I think everyone should read this book. ( especially for the kids that just want to read about the average day-to-day life about a girl living in the 70s)
