Use to record grades for homeschool!
I use this to keep records of my homeschooled children’s grades and days doing school. We use it a little different than intended but it works for us!

Loved it
This was a great purchase for the price. I like to be organized using technology, but I also like a record for myself to back up. This allowed me to keep track of my grades. Low cost and effective!

Above Average Record Book
I've purchased four of these books now (over three school years) and am quite pleased with them. My school does not provide record books for the teachers and the ones we have the option to buy through the school has extremely small check boxes. First, let me explain my reasons for giving the record book 4-stars: -I'd still like the check boxes to be a touch bigger-maybe reducing the allowable student lines to 30 to make some of the other space more useable (though I understand that other schools have much larger class sizes-my largest is 27 students) -the cover is cardboard (durable, but cardboard). Personally, I do like the cardboard because the plastic ones I've had tend to be annoying to the touch. But, cardboard IS less durable than plastic or laminate. Also, while I DO really like the cardboard cover, I did have to throw one out because I spilled my entire tubler of coffee on the gradebook (completely my fault). While it didn't completely soak throug the cover, the cover did nothing to protect the pages inside which were soaked and ultimately had to be tossed despite my efforts to salvage. The grade books have also taken quite a beating in my book bag and after a full year, the covers look pretty tired and are doing good to be clining to the binding. I do understand that not everyone has the issues that I have and these "cons" may not present a problem at all. Other than the two things I mentioned, I LOVE this record book. -The binding is a tough plastic spiral that doesn't twist or tear pages like the metal bindings I've had on other record books. -It has MORE than enough pages! I teach five different sections each day and like to leave a full space between the quarters in my book. I can do that with space left over in these, so major kudos for that! -The covers have inspiring quotes, which while I don't read them often, are nice looking and beat the plain white or sterile covers of other record books. I can say the same for the decorative page borders...not a necessity, but they do add a little spice to an otherwise boring task. -While I did mention the negative of the cardboard cover, it IS durable and coated. If I get crumbs or a little drip of liquid on it, it's easily wiped off. Like I said, the books do take a beating in my bag, but again, that's over the course of 9 months rolling around with a computer, text books, and often any number of awkwardly shaped items, pens, clips, glasses cases, and laptop cords. -The fact that I have purchased this record book 4 times suggests that I feel that it's a pretty great buy and that I haven't found anything that I like better. :) I plan to continue to buy this record book for the foreseeable future.

NOT FOR HOMESCHOOLING READ BELOW
Cute, but not for me! NOT FOR HOMESCHOOLING! A product I wish I would have not started writing in, this is definitely a traditional book for school. It does not leave room for writing. The date area is small, Name refers to the name of the student, not the assignment like I was originally thinking. Subject Area is definitely for like if you were teaching Like Social Studies, you wanted to keep track of just that and what period you were teaching. I am going to try and make this book work since I started writing in it, but is definitely not a good option for homeschoolers. I found a better option that I may print online on thehomeschoolmom.com website. Giving 5 stars for a fair review based off the fact it was not what I was looking for.

Great grade book
Grade books are not all made the same and good ones became hard to find. Since many of us teachers buy these ourselves it's frustrating to spend money on these and get one that's just okay. I'm very happy with this one....perforated pages means writing those names in one time! I appreciate that each page has 9 weeks worth. The shading is appropriate...it isn't too dark. The spaces for assignments and grades are a decent size. It's nicely made, though a sturdier cover would be a good idea since this book will be used every day, every period. All-in-all I'm happy with this one.

Perfect for grades
This helps me keep my grades organized. The layout is so helpful, but it’s also cute on the inside too (something you don’t always get with grade books).

Easy to use
Perfect for recording grades. There is plenty of space for writing. Do not trust computer systems 100% so this is my backup. Awesome product.

I'm a school bus driver and I use this book to keep attendance on my bus. I just like to know who is on and who isn't, incase anything should happen. I like that I can fold it inside out and still be able to check off at the inside page unlike other books with a spine, you can't get to the most inside part so easily and when driving bus I can't be messing around with a book. This book is very convenient. Definitely recommend

It’s really nice. Though it’s def a home made product and the printing is grey not black. But I love it. Super helpful.

Kept this but should have returned it as it is not colored which I thought it was.

The book has plenty of pages and spaces, but the lines are too short for many of my students' names. I am also not sure why the grey pages and thick, dark border was chosen. It could have been a brighter, clearer page to use.
