Crazy Horse Leather

This is the third one I’ve purchased. This leather watch strap looks and feels high end and holds up to abuse. This last purchase, I installed on my old school Invicta diver. 20mm strap in dark brown. The quick release pins are freaking awesome too. This is nice for quickly changing out strap on watches. I’ve had one of these same straps on another watch for several years and it looks just like the day I bought it. Quality materials and SUPER comfortable on the wrist. The stitching looks amazing. Hard to believe I can get this quality for $20! I’ll be ordering more in the future. Now listen, I own higher quality watches with expensive straps. I would honestly put this one up against any other high end watch strap. Stop shopping and get this one, you won’t be disappointed.

This is a 5-year update of this FANTASTIC BAND. I bought the original Galaxy watch a little over 5 years ago and have had this leather band ever since. I'm actually here because I plan to buy another one for my Galaxy Watch 7. This band (made five years ago, I assume the same quality is available today) is very good quality. Notice the distressing of the leather and discoloration over time as the leather ages. These things are exactly what you want in a leather band. You want it to age well. This band is SO comfortable when it breaks in. The leather is soft, thick, and molds to your wrist very well for a snug fit after it has had time to break in. This watch has seen heavy use and abuse over 5 years and is holding up really well, despite the cracking on the inside. The cracking is good, in my eyes - it tells me I didn't buy a piece of fake plastic material and that this band has been through it all. The aged cracking does NOT affect the integrity of the band and is only on the first inside layer and is pretty normal for heavy use of leather. I definitely couldn't break or tear the band with my bare hands despite the cracking. It's strong and incredibly comfortable. If you want a leather band you can be proud of and will look good, this is the one. This is the best leather band you can get on Amazon hands-down. I'm going to buy a brand new one for my Galaxy Watch 7 and am ready to break it in!

The construction is good for the price you perceive it when you unpack it the smell that the strap offers you is a good thing since you perceive the smell of leather (NOT ITALIAN) but it is genuine leather, not a cheap imitation of plastic feeling, it has seams to the sides which give me the impression that they give more attention to the work of labor fortunately it is not only a piece of skin joined to the other by means of glue, the thickness is good enough to provide rigidity but without compromising comfort on the wrist , in the description he mentions that it is oil tanned which is noticeable in the texture since it is too soft and very pleasant to the touch, the Vintage style is only appreciated when you have it in hand since the photos do not highlight the beautiful finish that the strap has, dare I say that it is too similar to the summer that Breitling uses in its Vintage straps, the buckle has a brushed finish which I appreciate since if it were polished Or it would completely lose its style and timeless essence, you can even perceive it in such insignificant details as the fact that carrying springs bars is quick release saves you a couple of minutes. Personally I was looking for a good quality but not ostentatious leather strap since I really like masculine sobriety, with an extremely timeless style and finish but not too worn or torn. It was definitely a great success to have chosen this leather strap for my Invicta Pro Diver, a very simple watch but with a very good style and classic design, it is a great machine in the sense that it is a hard work horse and I have not been disappointed for it I wanted to give it a different touch, change the steel bracelet for a nice leather strap, it is curious that when dressing it with that leather strap my Invicta watch had a real change I did not expect so much to be honest I was very surprised by the radical change in my watch made it look too sober and very vintage I loved the manly look that the leather gives it. I chose the black color because it is a guarantee of longevity and it is more versatile when combining colors, I must mention that the black color is also my favorite and my first option when choosing a shade. It brings with it a spring bar tool that is really useful and too practical. The cons that I have been able to find, only just a couple of hours in use and the strap had some clear and visible signs of wear, it could be normal since that is where the strap is in contact with the buckle but it was still a A little disappointing, I hope that over time it will only give it more character, more patina of use and I pray that it does not become something that seems unpleasant to me I could live with the natural wear of the skin since it is something natural but what I would not like would be the fact that it was split in half, however I will keep myself updated to show the good or bad changes. In summary, you are looking for something simple but with a very good price-quality ratio. This is the option on the Internet, there are thousands of leather straps, but you will love it, just like me, due to its minimalist appearance and its timeless great personality.

Band seems to be very high quality. It’s not flimsy at all. Very robust. Great leather smell. Size works for my 7” wrist with much room for larger wrists (5th hole out of 7). However, please note- The blue band is not a true blue. It looks amazing and I’m happy with how it looks, but the pictures made it seem to have more blue in it. I took a video to show it does have a blue hue, but also with some slight green shades. Again, I’m happy with how it looks, but the product image folks should be showing it as it truly is. I do really like the patina look and off white stitching which adds to its antique look. Goes really well with old style watches, like those with Roman numerals. FYI- it will be very stiff, but complies pretty quickly to your wrist.

I recently ordered my Hamilton Khaki Field King 2. I planned to have both the steel bracelet and the leather strap on hand so I could satisfy whatever mood I may be in at any given moment. In doing my research, I realized that I could order the leather strap separately, but not the steel bracelet. If I wanted the steel bracelet, I'd have to order it on the watch. So I did. I figured I'd order the leather strap later. I wasn't especially excited about the color of the one from Hamilton, even though I did want the Hamilton logo buckle. (I'll probably pick that up later) I prefer a darker strap, so I started looking. I bought several that just didn't match the quality of my watch. I'm very picky. A solid build and aesthetics are important to me. I saw this dark brown strap and loved the look of it. I put it on my Hamilton yesterday and wore it all day today at work and running errands after. I've quickly fallen in love with this strap. The leather is of exceptional quality, The edges are rolled, not cut. The stitching is nice, and of the same style as the one from Hamilton. It was stiff from the box, but quickly formed to my wrist. It wears comfortably, and is easy to to put on and take off. I'm happy with this purchase. I actually like it better than the one that would have come from Hamilton. I highly recommend this strap.

Other reviews stated the bands length is too short and I agree. With that said; it feels, looks and works very well with my watch which is a vintage Victorinox. This band is very well made from real cow leather; not one of the low grade composition leathers that some are made with. I think with time the leather will soften, stretch and be fine replacement watch band that you will enjoy. One a side note composition leathers are the lowest quality of leather sold. After searching the quality of leather quality; I stay away from all sprayed on (painted, if you will) powered leather on vinyl.
