A VERY HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT
Excellent product. I was having a problem with fruit flies and in my kitchen I set it out there and I put a module on it so I can turn it off and on my remote control. Did a wonderful job for me and I put it back in the box to protect it it's not as fragile as it looks. Definitely did the job and did it well thanks for a great product I would buy it again if I needed it I just hope I can get replacement tunes if I ever need them

Indoor bug zapper
This is an indoor high-voltage bug zapper. It most definitely gets rid of those pesky flying insects from as small as a gnat to as big as a wasp. I've experienced them all between having dogs and residents going in and out all day and night.I strongly recommend this product. Everyone should have one of these bug zappers in their home somewhere. I've gotten my entire family one.Its easy to clean. The dead bugs fall down into a small tray at the bottom, and you can easily slide the tray out to dispose of the dead insects. You'll hear it popping and zapping unexpectedly without even realizing a bug had snuck into your home. They automatically are drawn to the purple LED lights. Those pesky guests will not last long against this device.

Absolute gnat killing beast
This thing absolutely lures the gnats and other bothersome insects in and makes the kill. The sharp report as they are fried is satisfactory in the extreme. Brings a smile to my face at every POP!

Not Sure It's Effective, But It's Well Made
We had a sudden housefly infestation, unlike anything we've seen in this house in over two decades, possibly from some meat scraps that were in the kitchen garbage overnight. I looked for well-reviewed zappers and this one seemed to be liked by a lot of people. I have two cats, so the pet-safe design was a plus. The thing is this was one of the Amazon things that didn't ship immediately. I had to wait almost a week for it. By the time it arrived the flies were already much diminished. I set it up in a window near my husband's work computer. He noted that the first night it did zap several flies (and it makes a -loud- snapping sound when it does). Since then it's zapped a couple more, though they seem stunned but not killed and do get away on their own if not removed. But they've just vanished on their own. (We did vacuum up a number of them, and do some extra scrubbing). So I'm not sure if the zapper made any real difference. On the design side, I'll note a flaw in usability: The tray at the bottom is removed by tilting it and sliding it out from under the side grate, rather than pulling it out by the narrow end. Which means you can't get the bugs out with it, the bottom of the grate acts like a scraper. You have to carry the whole unit somewhere to tilt it and shake them out. If you actually get any bugs, that is.I debated between 3 and 4 stars and decided 3 would be mean since it was decently packaged, is simple to operate, and feels solid without being heavy. It just ended up irrelevant by the time it got to me.

Nine years later—still works perfectly!
I bought one of these in 2016. It has been used often, sometimes it is left on for days, and it still works phenomenally today.I haven’t had to replace any bulbs, either. Seriously, this thing rules. Only complaint is the short power cord (3 ft).

Not The Best!
I purchased this ASPECTEK Bug Zapper 14 Jul 2024, here it is June 21 2025, and this zapper has bit the dust. After receiving this item we used until the mosquito and fly season was over, Oct 2024, in the Panhandle of Texas it cools pretty early in the Fall. In May of 2025 we got the item out, plugged it in and worked for a few days and quit so I changed both bulbs even though they were still working. Plugged in and seemed to work pretty well until 3 days ago, The thing will make a zapping sound, but the flies will just fly off as if nothing happened. So checked the screen, there is no charge going through the screen, How it makes the zap sound is beyond me. 11 months and no Bug Zapper. After reading reviews, can't hardly make a decision with a decent amount of review has not many 4 or 5 stars.

Waste. Of money$$
When we first started using this unit we were extremely happy at how well it did its job at killing insects. But after about 6 or 7 months the top light burned out and it was impossible to find a replacement bulb ANYWHERE. So for the about 8 months we just used it with the one working bottom light, and keeping our fingers crossed that it would last until we could actually get a new bulb. Well eventually we were able to get purchase the replacement bulb so I bought 2 of them because surely the one bulb won’t last long. As soon as the new bulbs arrived I installed it………nothing not even a flicker. I put in the 2nd bulb……..same results. What are the odds that both of the brand new bulbs would be “bad”? I took the old burned out top bulb and installed it into the bottom and it worked, and so did the new light bulbs as well. None of the bulbs were burned out, it is the unit itself that has a defect. So to this day (bought this in 2023) we are still using this unit with just the one bulb and it is the original bulb the unit came with. And 3 replacement bulbs. There are much better units, don’t waste your hard earned $$ on this hunk of junk!
