I have never bought pins by weight--and this was a great value. They are lasting well, not bending out of shape, and hold my thick, fine hair very well. I love the larger size, too. If you have hair like mine, you need a certain kind of pin and this one is it. Doesn't slide out, grips, and can handle volume. Easy to use to clean up messy hairdos (capture sticking out pieces for ex) and also great for making a classical bun. My daughter loves them too, and they have helped her master bun making.

My clients say they are very comfortable to have their hair. They are good for thin hair and thick hair as well. 10 out of 10 recommend for styling tear, especially thick hair.

They are a little thinner than the specialty ones you can buy higher end but: they aren't flimsy enough to bend, they are the length I wanted, the ends aren't scratchy, there are so many for a good price. They'll absolutely do the job and I won't have to worry if I take my hair down and misplace the pins. I wear a bun 5 days/week for over 10 years for work. Knee length hair. Perfect for a quick updo and easy to throw in my purse. My hair is thin and fine so one is all I need to keep my hair off my neck. This is my second purchase of these hairpins. They are also great stitch markers when I crochet and have a number of different uses in a pinch. They are inexpensive but not cheap.
