Intrepid International Bandage Roller for Polo Wraps and Knits

This works great at rolling up Ace Bandages, Saves time, effort and makes rolling it up easieer.

I must admit, I was a bit leary of all the glowing feedback, but THEY ARE TRUE! I love how quickly I can roll up the bandages and take them to my PT sessions. Hand rolling made the PT roll her eyes and laugh. No more! You can do assorted size bandages quickly from wide bandages all the way down to small 1”. Yes, the roller is THAT GOOD! Highly recommend.

Update: Quality reduced, poor parts fitting.Instead of the using the modified drill stop shown in the photo on the sales page to mount the retaining wire, now it's an incorrectly sized hardware-store threaded nut with the retaining wire poorly welded on. Upon arrival the set screw holding the nut in place was loose. A customer without the correct Allen wrench will be in trouble.Even after I tightened the set screw, the wire still had excessive play (because the nut is not the correct size for the shaft), meaning the set screw will very likely work loose over time. Drill stops are easily obtained and inexpensive, so this is an unnecessary reduction in quality.This bandage roller might work as intended--if you can tighten the set screw enough. But, it is no longer the roller in the photo and the parts are likely to work loose with use.Previous Three-star review: If you can get one at all--they now seem on perpetual back order--these bandage rollers work well if the rotating shaft is removed (by removing the set screw in the retaining pin ring), and washers of appropriate size are placed on two sides of the metal frame. I used nylon washers but steel would probably work as well. Without the added washers, the crank can bind. Otherwise, this device makes rolling bandages much easier than by hand.

Any thing that makes something easier is a win for me , does what it is suppose to do

I bought this because the $30 rollers most boxing stores sell are flimsy and overpriced. Though this isn't stellar (there was rust inside the metal tube area) it's more than solid enough and can roll wraps very quickly. You'll need to install it onto something, most likely a wall stud. I used a piece of sheet metal as a bracket and installed it on a wire shelf in my laundry room. To get wraps to roll tight, fold the very end of the wrap over and under the wire clip, back toward you, then roll the wrap away from you. Note; the screws they sent me seemed to have been randomly pulled from a bin as they don't fit at all and have a tapered head. Don't feel that you have to use the ones they send you.

OMG - I LOVE this!! I have a polo wrap "problem." lol I have lots of them and the prospect of wrapping them after use or after washing was in a word - dreadful. Until I ordered this - now my polo wraps roll evenly and professionally in literally one tenth the time. Did I mention I LOVE this product?

This thing is junk when I first got it small bar was bent so much you couldn't use it. I had to try and straighten is and it broke I welded a new stronger bar and that help.

The crank is quite loose in the metal stand, making it kind of wobbly. I took it apart and added some washers on each side of the stand, and that helped. It works ok.

Shipping very slow and arrived in mediocre condition. Had some rust on it and a broken pin.
