With the freeze here, my father's water softener froze and the pipes burst. I bypassed the softening to let the water go to the house. When all the pipes were repaired, the valve was switched back softening. The install was very easy, about 1 minute. The valve came real quick even though the freeze was still going on.

Works well
Purchase this to replace original when the valves wouldn't move. Installation was "plug and play". Just turn off water, relieve pressure and replace valve.
