They're one of the earliest meat substitutes and one of the best. We used to have huge cookouts with these and they're great off the grill.

Taste is the same as a meat hotdogs without the garbage

A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!! Besides the fact that the cans have shrunk from 8 Big Frank's to 6 with only increases in price I was looking through the reviews and saw a picture of the exact thing that happened to me. The can was dented and the Frank's were black on the ends! I didn't contact the company, even though they are very expensive & the person who submitted the picture got no help for several ruined cans so it might have been a waste of time anyway..

Great vegetarian hot dog option that doesn’t need to be refrigerated. So nice to be able to have these on hand in the pantry! When needed, they can be easily microwaved, simmered, or grilled. Delicious taste without the overly strong hot dog taste- perfect. I do think they’re too expensive, I only have them as a special treat- which is weird for “hot dogs” ! Lol

We discovered these in a small health store while traveling, and therefore had them too infrequently until we realized the internet could find us these (albeit at a higher price). These are VASTLY superior to any refrigerated or frozen veggie hot dogs! You would swear they are real meat hot dogs. They are perfect for camping trips, but great at home too. Highly recommend!

These arrived yesterday and first surprise was the cans are much smaller than normal, with a smaller number of franks. I think they contain 6 instead of 10. The bad part is I’m not sure if they are okay to eat. Several have bright red spots on them - what is it? Mold or fungus? Botulism? Some dirty piece of manufacturing equipment? Also they falling apart, not the normal firm consistency. The expiration date on the can was not until 2024, so it can’t be that… I wish someone from Lima Linda would contact me with guidance on what’s going on here. I’m afraid to purchase any more of these given the issues.
