This Tortex FLEX .88 gauge pick is hard to find. I use it for both acoustic & electric guitars, mandolin, tenor banjo and other steel string fretted string instruments. The texture is very grainy so grip is solid. The thickness of the edge is slightly tapered, making the high frequencies really POP and shimmer. The GREEN version of this pick (also .88) is very firm and does not elicit the same high frequencies. I use that one for ukelele and nylon string guitar where you want a warmer, rounder tone. So make sure you get the right one for the gig. A package of 12 for this price is a steal, so stock up on them before they are discontinued!
