Good standard in wraps
Don’t buy some knock off brand, go for the gold standard and don’t waste your money on anything more expensive. This is my second pair of Inzer wraps, the first pair is going on 6 years and still workable but doesn’t seem to have a ton of life left so I figured why not get a fresh pair. They are definitely more supportive and stiff than a lot of other wraps out there so they require some breaking in but that’s the whole point of wraps.

Solid Support, But Missing Thumb Loops
The Inzer Iron Z Wrist Wraps are a solid choice from one of the best brands out there. My 15-year-old powerlifter uses these to save his wrists during high school competition training, and they provide excellent support. While the strong Velcro ensures a secure fit even without the thumb loops, I did dock a star since the loops were pictured but missing. Despite that, the overall quality and durability make these wraps a reliable choice for serious lifters.

Prefer thumb straps.
I can’t put them on so the wrap doesn’t cross my palm. My friend got a red light because the wrap touched the bar. Waist of money too difficult to work with. I’m going back to the thumb strap never had any problems with them and I can pull them very tight.

Things change
The old thumb loop is now the elastic sewn into the wrap’s end at the top and bottom. Which is easier to slip thumb out once wrap is on. I wrap my wrist then slip my thumb out of the loop before benching. I know some leave thumb in and I would guess the new loop sewing style would be good for those lifters, too.
