Blade is fixed, so does not retract like stanly.
Good strong and sturdy knife. Would have five stars if blade was retract able, but you need to unscrew the body each time you need it to be safe. Not a knife for occasional cutting, would be great for a lot of heavy duty cutting. Carpets, plaster board or things like that. It has storage space for about 20 blades a great thing if you are out and about, or need a quick change on the job.
