Omni Products USA RULES!!! (805/261-9681)
You are never going to believe how personable the seller Joey is (Omni Products USA) 805/261-9681I would have never believed it - if I didn't just "live" through it!!I ordered 2 sets of 12 padlocks thinking that all of them would be keyed alike even though it was NOT promised ( I had HOPED they would be in consecutive order )Well, they weren't so I called Omni from the contact page 805/261-9681 - and talked to Joey and he told me he would look into it and let me know what he found out the next day.Next day comes around and his supplier had not gotten back to him but he said he would call me back in 10 minutes - then he DID it!Unfortunately (for me because I was trying to be lazy), there were no 24 packs available but he told me he would keep my number and that his supplier sometimes comes back with 36 packs of locks and if I was still needing them - he would call me and let me know he was sending me 24 keyed alike ones and that THEN he would send me a pickup tag for the locks that he told me to use until we could see if we got the 24 pack in.Really????? USE THEM - then get 24 new ones AND THEN he would pay to pick up the 24 "used" locks that I have?!?!?! No way.I took the gamble on ordering these and getting 24 keyed alike (because I didn't want to pay the outrageous price Master Lock wanted for them) - I'm keeping these suckers - I'm just going to paint 12 of the blue bands in red and color code the keys. Now: the locks themselves:I was really leery about these locks because of the incredible price. But I have to tell you, they are good quality for a medium security padlock.(China made - but isn't everything?)Ordered these locks to secure my various ammo boxes, gun cases and rifle cases - they worked superbly. They fit all the holes and leave room to run a steel cable through each lock. And unlike other reviews that I have read, I am unable to fit a key into one of these locks and open it, " other than the keys that shipped with them".ALL-IN-ALL: A GREAT lock for what you pay for and you can't beat the price!!!

Not a good deal, poor quality.
I bought this mainly because there are 12 keyed alike locks. A quick test with one key confirmed they were all keyed alike. No serial numbers on lock or keys. Appears to have a 4-pin cylinder. Not sure if the manufacturer just makes one key.The first thing that caught my eye when I received then was that it looked like the cylinders were rusting. Since most locks have brass cylinders I thought it was strange until I looked at it more closely to discover that it is brass colored steel which I confirmed with a magnet. The cylinders don't turn smoothly and I expect them to rust as I'm using them outdoors. Since the shackle is a small diameter, I should be able to cut them open and replace them with another until I use them all up.The keys appear to be a thin piece of aluminum which I hope won't break inside the cylinder. In summary, I can't recommend this to anyone but it isn't so bad that I will throw them away and buy Master Locks unless this breaks my bolt cutter.Update: 19 Jan 2015Changed rating from 2 to 1 star. After the first rain, I discovered that the cylinders were rusted so badly that I had to spray them with WD-40 to allow the key to be inserted. I eventually threw them in the recycle trash and replaced them the others that I wasn't using. Rather than waiting for all the locks to be rusted locked, I decided to replace all of them. I couldn't find any other 10+ keyed alike locks on Amazon.I searched the web and found a security products dealer in Philadelphia that sells several brands (Master Lock, American Lock, Abus) of locks in different shackle sizes (1-1/8" to 3"), shackle diameters and different types (aluminum, brass, steel, stainless steel) that can be keyed alike. The locks are more expensive but certainly worth the money. I initially purchased 10 brass American Lock model A40 and later 7 more with different shackle lengths (models A41 & A42), all using the same key. These use a 5-pin cylinder and a sturdy key that I don't have to worry about it breaking in the cylinder. All the moving parts are incredibly smooth. These have survived several rainy days without problems. This is one of those cases where it is worthwhile to pay more for quality.

Not what was pictured (In a good way!)
The package I received did not match the photo. I received a small plain white box. Inside the white box was 12 individual white plain white boxes. Each box had a plastic baggie with a lock and 2 keys in it. The locks also look different than the photo. The ones I got are red (and not blue) and say "Lion Locks" (and not "SECURITY"). While the red ones still look Chinese-y knockoffs, I think they look less like the "dollar-store" garbage locks. As far as quality of the lock, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Each lock works great with the same key. The key turns easily and the lock snaps open quickly. The shackle closes and feels solid. Without actually doing a scientific test, I feel these are 100% as good as Master locks. Now remember that among lock afficienados, padlocks like these aren't considered very secure. These could be shimmed like Master locks I'm sure. I'm just using them to keep hands out of my Ammo Boxes and they're a perfect fit. So as long as you know the limitations of a small padlock and don't expect it to keep out a determined individual for a long time, these are a phenomenal deal. Very happy with purchase.
