First 100 Words Padded (large) Board book – Large Print, July 2, 2019

After six years...this book is still being used and in good condition. At first I thought this wasn't going to be used much, but I've had three kids and it's helped them to identify, say and even read the first 100 words. (So it grows with them!) The book provides a lot of different subjects such as animals, baby products and vehicles. Your child will be exposed to several words. I'll be saving this book for my grandchildren. The binding it well made and the pages are cardboard. The colors are bright and vivid...eye catching.

The content of the book was completely relevant and appropriate for my 21 month old. The book itself was damaged on accident while in transit. The company I bought it from immediately identified the problem; they were professional, efficient, and their customer service was excellent. They gave me a variation of options to make everything right and I definitely walked away a happy customer :) I will definitely shop with them again!

We got this as a gift to read with our son and he loved it. It really helped him learn words/names for things. He had so much fun pointing to objects and naming them! Even before he could talk, we would ask him where an object was and he would point to it on the page. We used the book so much that the pages started breaking off(after a year and 1/2). We liked the book so much that we bought a new one to use with our 6 mo. old daughter.

This is a great book. It has the 100 first words for children with bright colored graphics. This is one of my daughters favorite books. She loves to open the sturdy little book and point at the objects and tell me what they are. She is 18 months old and absolutely loves it. She wants to drag it into every room of the house. Do not hesitate, great book.

This is a great first book! We bought the large copy and my daughter just loves it! The pictures are awesome. My only complaint is some of the words seem a bit obscure and not really what I would consider to be first words, like "slippers" and "sweatshirt." Also, the colors page seems more complex than I would chose for a 1st words book, like instead of just having something representing purple and calling it "purple" they have a tricycle and call it a purple tricycle. I probably would have called the sippy-cup just a "cup", because I don't expect my 1 year old to call it a sippy cup? Maybe I'm just being knit-picky but I also studied child development so I'm a bit critical about what is developmentally appropriate. Perhaps this book is meant to grow with the child? Otherwise this is a fabulous book and I would recommend it.

I got this book when my son was 3 months old. I would lay him beside it, and he would start smiling and reaching for the pictures. I also propped it up on the change table to help keep him occupied during open air time. He is 6 months old now and still loves to look at this book. It is very large, with sturdy pages, and does not fit easily in my big diaper bag, but is great at home. I am buying some Roger Priddy soft books that are easier to travel with. I think we will be using this book for a long time, especially once my son is starting to read in his own.

Lovely book, shame English version was not available to my address rather than US version. Also, the first order I placed came with a torn cover so I returned it and received a refund. I placed the order again and this time the book came damaged again. This time I have decided to keep it as it is only minor damage (a dented spine causing small creases on each page) and my son has seen the book and likes it. However, if I had gotten it as a present for someone I would not be happy to give it.

This book is a perfect over-size book to read with your toddler (or grandchild, as in my case). It is colourful and the variety of items to "name" keeps the interest up. Most of the words are common such as ball and dog, etc., so when your child can easily identify these, they can start learning the other less common ones that the book offers. I purchased the book for my 2 year old son who has a slight speech delay. He loves all of the pictures and it's really helped him pick up new words.
