BuJo for the whole year in one book!
I started a BuJo in November 2020 (in a Walmart Exceed dot journal) to track all sorts of things and see if I liked it. Well, I decided I did like it and realized that I was going to run out of room quickly. So I went looking for something with enough pages to get me through the year of tracking and other things I wanted to jot down. I don’t doodle or dress it up with fancy stickers or drawings. I just keep it simple and track things, appointments, notes, ideas, etc. I don’t like my journal cluttered. I like my info easy to see. I keep a lot of information in this and I’m finding it’s such a useful tool keeping it all in one place. This was the one. It’s simple and clean looking and I prefer the size over larger or wider journals. Yes, the pages are a little thinner and there is some ghosting, but I don’t care. It’s a trade I’m willing to make to have one journal going the entire year rather than setting up multiple journals through the year and then having to keep track of all of them after I begin another. I’m someone who tracks and looks back frequently so I want everything in one place. If I finish the year and want to continue I will definitely be getting another. I use Pilot Frixion pens, markers and highlighters as well as Sharpie pens in black. I hope this review was helpful!

Great notebook (thin pages)
I love the size of this notebook! Not just the dimensions but the number of pages. I was so excited to find the expanded edition. I didn't even realize Moleskin made these! It is so easy and comfortable to carry in my bag. And the 200 pages means I don't have to worry about running out of writing room for a good while. The only thing I don't like is how thin the paper is and how easily a regular bic pen bleeds through the page. I like pens! Different styles and different colors but I can't use anything like a felt tip or anything to inky because it would be impossible to use both sides of the page. 😢 However, I did buy this with the understanding that it would be an issue.

Almost perfect!
I love this notebook. It’s a great size and format. It typically lasts me 7 months, so I use about 2/year. The notebook holds up really well for daily use, going everywhere with me, and then at home as a reference. The corners may get a little worn, but the functionality is still stellar. I wish the pages were slightly thicker, so I could use a broader variety of pens. I also wish it had a third ribbon as I tend to want to quickly turn to more than 2 pages. I also love the pocket at the back. I use the pocket for fliers/postcards and business cards I may need to reference during the day. Since getting long covid, my memory isn’t what it once was, so using this notebook has been invaluable. I used to keep notes on printer paper folded in 1/2 until someone recommended that I use a notebook so I didn’t have to keep up with all of those loose sheets of paper. It's been a game changer.

This journal gets out of the way and let's me write.
I've used these expanded Moleskine journals for years. I've heard opinions that these are too expensive. Ok, suppose I ought to be able to get them for 10 dollars cheaper - the 400 pages last about a year for me. For something as important as what I use these for - sanity check complainers, please. As for the weight of the paper - I use fine tip Japanese liquid gel pens. No bleeding, etc. Every now and then, I'll experiment with an alternative journal, but I keep coming back to these Moleskines, for the reason stated in the title of this comment.

Amazing journal but shipping was poor
I love the journal as the paper feels like velvet. I recommend this journal to those who are doing journaling on a daily basis as there are enough sheets to complete the majority of a year. I am not happy about how this journal was shipped in a shrink wrap without anything to cushion it from the wear involved in being shipped. Amazon keeps cutting back but charging more for Prime. I don't have the same problem with their competitors.

Amazingly sturdy
The first one of these I bought has been in use as a writing/art journal for a couple of years now and is very near to the end. I happen to like this paper and use it for writing, pasting things onto, applying paint to, testing markers, etc., and it takes everything I throw at it, even it means covering a page with gesso or gluing two pages together to hide a bleed. I remove the elastic since it stretches out in no time as the book gets bulkier, but I make my own canvas-with-velcro strap that I can pull as tight as I need to, and that adds to its character. The spine on this book is phenomenal, and still in perfect shape, despite how thick it is now. My next blank one is in the wings, waiting for its turn.

BIG.
I didn't think, really, about how large this notebook was going to be. Not like, height and width-wise, but thickness. This is a very thicc notebook. Only buy it if you have a lot of things to say.

I don't know why it took me so long to switch from lined or blank pages to dotted. It's fantastic for sketching out designs and typography. Also, I love moleskine, and have used them for decades. DOTTED PAGES FOR THE WIN!

Probablemente mi producto favorito de Moleskine con diferencia. A pesar de su precio alto es un producto de unas calidades excelentes que hace que nada más sea el “go to” para aquellos que disfrutamos escribiendo. Desde luego una gran compra
