Bought one for a "Secret Santa" gift project--one with a price range. This fit the price range and is not only, in a sense, kind of a novel gift idea, but also very pretty to look at. It also works as something you can use...or use for special moments. It does hold hot liquid well. I would not put it in a microwave since the handle and (I suppose) the decorations are made of metal....and the cup is glass, after all. Heat up the cider or hot chocolate or tea or coffee, and then add to this glass. Use the little spoon that comes with it to stir your hot drink. Then set it all on the little doily that comes with it. It just looks so cute--and the doily completes the look-- that you will make any cup of tea into a "party in mid day" for yourself and/or a special occasion for someone.

I bought this cup, to replace one I was gifted that broke. The breakage was not due to design but due to a huffy three year old! Anyway, I love this cup and use it pretty much daily. I received the first one as a gift and loved it. When the first one broke I knew I needed to replace it. It comes in a lovely presentation box complete with a small, matching spoon and doily coaster. It makes a beautiful gift. I highly recommend it. Just be sure to keep it away from little ones!

I bought this for tge lady that does my nails. She loves Orchids and I found this. The box is even beautiful. The spoon, coaster and cup are so exquisite. Definitely will buy this for future gifts. Very pretty!

I usually never write a review, but this really surprised me. It is well made as far as I can tell - it looks beautiful, it is heavy (does not feel like it will crack if you look at it wrong), when hot tea is in it, the base is cool! The handle is a tad bit thin for my large hands, but my wife says they are perfect. There are little white glass-like gems (looks like diamonds, but the cost tells me they are not! :-) ) It is so beautiful that I actually WANT to wash it by hand to keep it looking so nice!

It is a nice looking cup. The workmanship could be better, like the pattern seams are too obvious and the butterfly on my cup was not glued all the way. So it’s up to your luck if you get a cup that was nicely made or not. The packaging was poor. When I got it, the cup was half way out of the gift box and I was surprised that it didn’t break, but the gift box it came in was ripped and now I have to gift it like this cause I have no time to exchange it. The cup is 350ml, which is 11.8oz.

Beautiful, very happy with it. It’s a gift and I’m sure she will love it.

I bought this as a gift for a friend and it is even more beautiful than I thought it would be. I was worried that it wouldn't be a sturdy as it is. My friend absolutely loves it, it's elegant and gorgeous!
